oh no... stuttgart... i was moving near stuttgart 10 years ago and it is really hard to get used to those people. they are not very open minded and always busy - swabian people use to build their houses on their own and are rather harsh.
So you moved off base? I want to live on base only because my daughter is 9 and i feel that the school will be easier for her to adjust to. Is base housing that bad?? Keep the videos coming. I got more out of your videos then all my internet searching...oh whats the cable like? Do you get american tv?
@butterflyzhaven We live off base because its pretty much the only option for our area. The wait lists are extremely long. however, there is one base near by that we might be able to get on, but its not close enough to my husbands job so therefore moving there wouldnt be as beneficial. The buses for the DoDDs schools run out to the german towns within the area. the american cable sucks...i will do my next video on it.
@MadamLuci Wow I told my husband that the list was long! Men dont listen! LOL So if I were to live off base then my daughter can still go to a DoD school? She goes to school on base now (we live off base but got her in on the lottery system). Thats my biggest issue other than that it would be my dog. I dont want to bring the dog because I heard alot of people wont rent to you if you have an animal. Please do a video on the TV. I want to get Apple tv before we move and I know I can set up netflix
@butterflyzhaven YES, about 77% of military live off base here. thats my made up statistic..lol. but pretty much how it seems. lol. maybe more. YES dont worry about your daughters schooling, she will get to go to dodd schools. the school busses run to a plethora of towns here. I want to get apple tv as well, i have just been to lazy to order it! lol. Some places are pet friendly some arent, really it just depends on how u care for ur dog, because you can not leave it in the house all day.

@fabbymyers There are good things about this house, and there are little creature comforts that are missing as well. I mainly want to move because our house has 3 floors (townhome) and the living room and kitchen is on the same floor. i need a place where its on the bottom so that i can go out side with the kids and keep an eye on them. also, we dont have a fenced in yard...there are a few other things too. but this place is really nice.
