I remember seeing an AND commercial, that was 10 seconds long, it just showed the office, for a few seconds, and then a train went threw it, then it had the AMD logo, that was it

Yeah it's faster then Pentium III that's for sure....AMD should make one that's faster than Core 2 and above at any clock ...

Right now, AMD hasn't got the fabrication methods to make processor components as small as Intel does. However, AMD can make their processors for a bargain using older technology and getting witty with it.

In the end, AMD's fastest Phenom quad-core is 20% slower than Intel's fastest quad-core i7, but it costs 80% less!

Personally, I don't need to shell out $1,000 to go as fast as possible. I'm gonna pay $190, and still say "HOLY $#!+ THAT'S FAST!!" when I convert 15 hours video for my PSP.
