  • Saw them live in '83 promoting this album at the Las Palmas parking lot in San Antonio...Ron Jarzombek sat in on guitar...Absolute S.A. Metal History!!!

  • Ashamed the sound is so dang quiet.

  • I shot the photo you see above, for BOSS Bobby O'Neill Sound Studios. Original design by Mike Taylor. Cool to see it after all these years! It was fun to shoot a ram's skull vomiting "blood" out of its nasal cavities!

  • is it only me. But it sounds like a bit of the riff is a Dio RIPOFF from holy diver

  • The riff between 0:32-0:35 became very popular Later on. It was borrowed by Metallica("Trapped Under Ice") and King Diamond("No Presents for Christmas").

  • my boyfriend was right!!!!! this is better then slayer!!!!!!!!

  • have this on picture disc and on a t shirt

  • @jesusisbetter ya i know i was born in the worng time my dad wen to that concert and he got a pick from them.my friends sent me links of S.A. Slayer pilaying live with L.A. slayer

  • This EP......RULES.

  • OH-and S.A. Slayer actually headlined the Slayer/Slayer gig! How cool to see L.A. Slayer open up for S.A. Slayer! You metalheads who weren't even born when this band was blessing the incredible Texas metal scene, give Slayer a careful listen! Open your ears and listen carefully to a heavy, powerful band with unparalleled instrumental ability for the early 80s. Even today this Slayer would be unique, complex, and somewhat ahead of their time. Man, Slayer, wow! This is making me smile!

  • @jesusisbetter Yeah S.A. Slayer kicked L.A. Slayer's ass at the Battle of the Slayers concert! I have the bootleg recording of that entire show, too!

My father also recorded this E.P. along with the Go for the Throat album off a clean vinyl copy of the record and digitally took out all the noise and stuff. It sounds fantastic. Much better than any bootleg CD version of the albums that are out.

  • @jesusisbetter yo man my dad was at that show and he got the pick from the guitar player from sa slayer and i have it in my room. and wen i play my 1st gig i was using it

  • @jesusisbetter actually, SA Slayer opened the show if your talking about the Villa Fontana show! I specifically remember because I believe it was Van Stavern that actually put his guitar out for the fans to play. Then they tried that with Tom Araya and he got pissed. I wouldn't put my money on that as fact, but I believe SA Slayer opened.

  • @jesusisbetter i am with you brother sa slayer at sunken gardens back in the day!!!

  • @jesusisbetter there was some other cool locals ! tempest! , karion!

  • Unbelievable complexity, talent, and originality, even for today! I saw them many times and never appreciated how awesome they truly are. I was into Hellhammer, Mercyful Fate, Venom, etc. so S.A. Slayer was a bit "mellow" for me in early 80s. But today I listen to this & say "wow, wow, wow!" Seeing S.A. Slayer & L.A. Slayer play together at their last show ever was incredible. They were really cool to each other in spite of the lawsuit. I even made flyers. Wow, a trip back in time tonight!

  • have this e.p i break up bud on it

  • I'm trying to find this EP but so far, no luck.

  • I have this EP.

  • Im trying to get my hands on this ep. But man its so rare.

  • Cool this has a video... wish you would have uploaded Unholy Book though, that's the best song on the EP!
