@macvicious13 This video depicts the struggle between the various FOSS communities against the big bad monopoly. The mood was set this way when it started out with Mozilla's message "please don't hurt the web" (the one hurting the web being the big bad monopoly and its supporters). And it showed all the different communities/projects and individuals that participated in this struggle. Anyway, that's my interpretation; I see these people as heroes, including the maker of this video...
very nice movie.. if you make it speed up like hell in the middle and put the logo and a date after the movie the organization have their 2012 teaser commercial ready :p
I will say that the only thing that I could change to this video is the song... perhaps "black Betty" or some more move music... or instead use "teardrop"
everything else is just perfect, really make me want to go to fosdem. :)
i find the pace of this film way too slow, like it builds for something to happen... for me FOSDEM was a rush of adrenaline, all the time doing something, all the time running into people.

Didn't you see me with the happy camel at the Perl stand? I am quite sure the film was building up to all the excitement, as expressed by the happy camel wagging its tail! (at 3:41)
The film is a very nice expression of all that adrenaline. I felt it too. It came back because of the film. Fosdem was an excellent conference, with over 3,000 people, happy people, serious people, eager people.
Nice production.
But why did you choose/make the video so cold and the music just makes me sad... ?

Wow, Jakub, you did both the movie and the music? Congrats, man!
I wished you had filmed the applause for Eben Moglen. His speech had so much energy, it was amazing...

This is profound lightness. A short beauty reflecting the spirit of free software and society. Well done!
