  • School boy truck drivers i learned from tje old school guys

  • that old man is fucking pissing me off....

  • back the slack adjusters of with 9/16 spanner 2 minutes max

  • its NJ.......asswipe probably bought the CDL. The "new breed" drivers are to stupid to pour piss out of a boot. Love the 5 "professionals " out there telling them how its to be done.

  • Most normal people would wind the breaks off rather then stuffing around and damaging the drive train .............................MORON

  • More than just the food cooking in this establishment. The driver should try to cage the trailer brakes.

  • Have It Your Way!!

  • My guess is a broken airline.

  • must drive for JB Hunt

  • Just because the trailer brakes locked dosent mean something was wrong with the brakes, could have just been a hole in the airline, i had this happen to me once when i went to pick up a trailer, didnt notice until i heard the trailer dragging then i checked the airlines and sure enough one was torn. sometimes shit just breaks.

  • all that for a damn whopper? lol

  • I bet the clutch was loving this!

  • push the yellow and red buttons on the dash and release the brakes, IDIOT!!!! Stupid yankee truckdriver.....

  • @hickrystyk they dont know any better

  • why not get under and just manually release the chambers? Ive done it sittin on railroad tracks!

  • @mossyoaksilverado cant do that with lockers

  • Crazy old man.

  • Damn those Burger King patties must be heavy!

  • How many times does he keep trying and getting nowhere? Moron.

  • @Guido2872 Hey dumbass, I am sick and tired of people giving no credit to truck drivers. HE HAS LOCKED brakes. God, look at the fucking title dipshit.

  • @RAIDEN123524 I give no credit to moron truck drivers. Having spent nine years on the road myself I know just how moronic they can be.If you are the type of dumbass driver who sticks up for morons like this then odds are you are just as bad as he is. And thank you for calling me GOD.

  • @Guido2872 I was practically born in a fucking truck. Have you ever had locked brakes on your trailer before? Well back when I was about 9 my father and I were going down Winnemucca hill and the trailer got locked brakes and that fucker almost through me through the windshield. IT FUCKING SUCKS. So you are probably a fucking dipshit. I'm just saying.

  • @RAIDEN123524 Never had my brakes lock up because I always inspected them properly. Maybe your dad should have done the same thing. That way he would not have put his sons life at risk. What happened to calling me GOD?

  • @Guido2872 MY Dad is an awesome fucking truck driver (And has been for 30+years) and the problem was was that their was water in the lines and it was in the middle of winter! Can you physically check that? No but that is the only logical explanation and besides, we were coming from Nampa were I live to Jackpot. It was a short drive. And also, it meant HOLY FUCKING A GOD! WHY DO YOU MAKE ASSHOLES AND IDIOTS LIKE THIS GUY!!

  • @RAIDEN123524 OK That's it. I'm done with you. I'm tired of your name calling and bad spelling. Stop the shit. Piss off and get a life. PS. It's called "brake line anti freeze" , I only ever had to use it once and that was on a trailer I picked up with already frozen brakes. Daily draining of the tanks is all you really need to do. Before you assume that I never did much winter driving I can tell you that I live in the Great White North and did it regularly. Now piss off and get a life.

  • @RAIDEN123524 PS Learn to spell.

  • @Guido2872 Please, I know more than you I bet.

  • You got to hand it to the guy. It must suck sometimes driving these big trailors. Sometimes I see the trailers swaying back and forth from the wind. I always try to help them out if I can and I can count on these guys in a pinch. They are always there to help if you get lost. Some of the places they have to pull in and out of are not designed for the tractor trailor at all. When a business is designed they should first think about receiving big deliveries.

  • Poor bastard, he obviously just wanted to get it off the street and out of everybodys way. Hopefully he wasn't stuck there too long, and i'm sure he knows better how to deal with that situation again, if he comes across it.

  • LOL @ The know-it-all old fucker at the end.. "What the fuck ya hollerin at him for? Fuckin jerkoffs" Lmao

  • He could have adjusted the Slack adjuster's, but I had this happen to me, my problem was the s-cam had pushed through the brake drum

  • I agree. I'm a pete guy

  • I love how the old man was saying open the tanks. Hey dumb ass you need air to release the brakes.

  • @regdapimp06 haha

  • what a stupid ass driver....get out and release the brakes by backing off the slack adjusters........wonder how he got his CDL?

  • the old prick knows it all Why didnt you help.

  • its called climb under the trailer with a 9/16 wrench and back the breaks off and save the tranny and tires duh

  • ah its a volvo...nuff said. a friggen isuzu could haul that trailer in no prob.

  • @indyman12345LOL , Maybe it's in the american trailer the problem is! ;)

  • man i wish that old guy was there when i had a problem , he knows

  • It was a airline fail, stupid trolls "WHAT A DUMMY" Wow...

  • so a person with little experience had a bad day...no one was killed..the tires can be replaced and i bet he'll never do it again...life goes on.

  • Fucken dip shit

  • The dude just really wanted some BK. It's okay, I get a little backed-up when I have BK too.

  • push the little red knob in its supposed to air up the trailer brakes

  • Aint nuthin a 9/16 or 1/2 in ratcheting box wrench and a screwdriver couldnt fix.

  • figures it would be a piece of shit Volvo too eh?

  • @KrAzYxInKy trailer.....not truck, but trailer

  • @smartycummins2500 I know... I was just saying... Volvos suck!

  • @KrAzYxInKy I think your wrong!!!!!!! Freightshakers suck!

  • @KrAzYxInKy haha true true

  • He probably just really wanted to go through the drive through get some food.... What a let down for him

  • what caused his rear brakes to lock on him?did they freeze up?

  • why wouln' t you just crawl under trailer with wrench and manually unlock brakes, takes to min.

  • @kvhemiboy cage 'em

  • @supernovaking72 yup, 3/4 wrench if i remember right, done.

  • with air brakes they can go bad when u put the brakes on then when u go to take them off they well lock and u have to replace the camber so it may have not been his faught

  • @haloman551lockout chambers fail one at a time, maybe to, but the odds are crazy. if just one chamber failed he would have been able to move no problem. its probably air failure in the truck... or he should just check his glad hands...

  • all comments tl;dr, maybe the truck had separate handbrake for trailer and the driver panicked, forgetting that second lever :)

anyway, least time would have been wasted, given there was a real malfunction, to wind open the brake bells from the trailer...

  • get under the dam truck and back off the brakes

  • fuckin idiot

  • brake failure? or failure to release the trailer brakes? he couldnt of driven the entire way from where ever with locked brakes so wut ever caused the brake failure was right there

  • why didn'nt he wind the brakes off!!

  • Hey dumbshit old man, no pun but this is only to show what you don't know. You don't dump the damn tank on the trailer. Problem is the brake chambers are not getting air to release the spring brake witch I am guessing because the emergency line is either ruptured or clogged. Then again maybe someone removed the gladhandseal and dropped in a quarter for pissing off that one driver for parking in the fuel island and never got fuel. Damn, getting ripe in your old age there old man?

  • That's an older than the hill's volvo/white tractor worn out with no ball's left to move a trailer with locked brakes.

  • Ouch, he must've made an abortion outta the clutch doing that

  • 3/4 wrench...pull the 4 booster pin out and THATS IT!!!

  • derka derka 1/4" 32 79 thats what i would have done

  • I would have walked to the back with a 9/16 wrench and backed off the brakes real quick.

  • His brakes more than likely cammed over. Backing the slack adjusters off at least he could move.

  • if u have the blue line service line u just switch them pull the trolly handle which will release spring brake tada

  • Don't like the comment from the old guy and some postings. The driver is in trouble as the brakes of the trailer jumped into safety brake and he's doing his utmost best to clear the road. Positive point: the brakes of the trailer work perfect!... That's not always evident.

  • The guy sure is an old bastard. If he'd have spoken to me that way, I'd shove that cane you know where.

  • Here's what happened. Trucks have a safety feature that when the service brake (foot pedal) loses too much air pressure, the trailer brake automatically engages. The driver tried to get into the BK parking lot before the trailer brakes locked so he wouldn't be blocking traffic but didn't quite make it. He wasn't "wedged" into anything. He couldn't move because the trailer brakes were locked.

  • @locksmithite Exactly! I just went through truck driving school and that's exactly right. The guy in the video kept on saying he needed to drain the rear air supply valves, however by doing that, the spring brakes will apply and lock the brakes. These people who are "standing by" have absolutely no idea obviously.

  • @GeorgeVeld Wow, 20 years and 7.5 million miles eh. I can tell...you obviously sound very well educated too. I was simply stating what I learned, but for you to call me an idiot based off of a simple comment makes you not only rude but very ignorant as well.

  • @biskie03.....GeorgeVeld claims 20yrs of driving and 7.5 million miles, and he's only 39......do the math buddy, this guy is yanking on your chain!!!!

  • @24819984 Hahaha, yeah...good point! :)

  • @biskie03 when they showd you at schoolhow to back off brakes if biskieo3 had been listining he would have herd that too oh yea sorry he is a pro cause he just finnished is 3 weeks if drivers ed at wall mart

  • @GeorgeVeld Hahaha, what's really funny is how irritating my comments have made you...not only is it funny but it makes my day. After reading your last comment, it really confirmed you're previous comments...I'm now quite sure that you do have millions of miles under your belt, and I'm sure you're a very good driver. I can tell based on your horrible grammar, mis-spelled words and lack of any sort of intelligence in your statements. What college did you attend anyway? Harvard? Just curious.

  • @24819984 I am yanking chain's ??? in canada you you could get your "A" licence when you were 16 like i did and jus so you know i was wrong i am sorry i have been drivig class A for 23 years and miles were kms sorry that still dont mean any thing all the driver had to do was take 2 seconds t0 back off the brakes onthe trailer something that is taught at school

  • @biskie03 your full of shit. 7.5. do the math. 20 years aint enough time. Hours of service sleep time YOUR way off

  • @w30olds I'm not the one who said 7.5 million miles in 20 years dumbass...learn how to read the above comment first.

  • braindead and stupid are behind the wheel

  • Easy way to burn a clutch out plus tyres, bags

  • The old guy telling to drain the air and the brakes release, wrong. That was 25+yrs ago. If the tanks are empty, then the springs lock the brakes. That keeps from having a runaway truck when it loses air. The cops may of told him to drag the trailer our of the road and wait for a mechanic. This trailer would need 4 bolts to release the brakes or fix the lines (or tanks) and full with air.

  • YAY the dumb bitch with Ï HATE THIS GUY",,, he cost you 5 minutes of your worthless life you dumb bitch,,,you can eat your fucking meal while you wait HANGON<<,,,,,,its the fucking In driveway anyways,,, so if you're leaving,,, WHATS YOUR FUCKING PROBLEM????

  • OMFG... what a truck driver.... that s why we are seen as stupid on the road because of dumb stupid driver like that.....jesus crhrist this stupid ass should have his license

    suspende for ever....

  • the only way to lock a trailer's brakes is by rupturing a air hose

  • Wow poor dude every ones watching him get stuck in a parking lot..

  • Listen to DOC he built the Time Machine, to go back to the future, so he should know how to release air brakes!

  • i can handle it,that easy task.i agreed with u tomrawnrg

  • He wanted some chicken fries from BK; that is why he left his vehicle in that location.

  • I wonder if he just accidentally popped the trailer brake knob out, or bumped the trolley brakes when he hit the curb.

    Now that would be funny!

  • if its on air you need to get the tanks of the brakes empty

  • @rebelvanner01

I have to disagree with you and the old guy on the video!

Almost all trailers on the road these days have spring-actuated parking brakes.

Some of the older trailers had the "un-hitching" brakes that would apply with stored air pressure and only stay on until the air leaked out. I have had the mis-fortune to pull and repair a few of those, and am glad they had to change to spring brakes years ago! (I have converted some of them to Maxi's too)

  • everyone so smart and laughing but nobody helped him

  • TRUCKIN AINT FOR SISSIES...'ITS FOR IDIOTS

  • @tomrawnrg or just back the slack adjusters all the way off.

  • got any french fried taters in there....how much ya want fer umm

  • im 18 and i already got my CDL

  • @bubbleboyE40 in what state and what class? here in IL you need to be 21 to drive combos

  • @zacatetas, you can be 18.. But you can't leave the state.

  • @WickedxEvolution its funny you say that cuz i just found that out last night 1st hand, from another young driver who said he was only allowed to drive intrastate

  • bet the clutch lost a few years in this maneuver!

  • @tomrawnrg but when you cage the brakes you are completly relient on you truck brakes. . .not that great. . .. works but not good

  • its these fuckin retards that give us good drivers a bad name...

  • yeah that what happens when u lose air from air tank. Your brake get locked up. I bet this driver dont know how to do it right

  • why and the hell would he try to pull that truck into burger king lot and tear every damn thing up

  • Cage the brakes. Every driver should know how and have the tools to do this. I never pulled out without them. If the police are forcing him to do this, that's bullshit they can't do that.

  • Comment removed

  • @169pepsi, I do agree with you, but I only mean to cage only the trailer to get it off the road. I'm sure that different companies have their own rules for something like this and surely would rather have that than a clutch replacement. I would never suggest to run it down the road like that, sorry I wasn't clear on that. I stand by my belief that drivers should know how and when to cage brakes.

  • i love that idoit thats runs up and does something to the truck nice job douche bag

  • Comment removed

  • @169pepsi He could also have a bad brake chamber, I had that happen to me once locked the trailer brakes up tight.

  • Ok. The man at the end of the video is wrong. Trailer boosters are made of two components. Parking and Service brakes. The service brake is operated with the pedal but the parking brake is held off with 90 psi of air or more. Without air the parking brake is engaged. It's a safety feature. There is no TANK to open. If the boosters are not getting air you can not release the Parking brake. (yes I know you can back them off manualy with a key but I don't think that was an option here)

  • @ChadBurr76 Actually some trailers don't use spring brakes they use standard service brakes like the ones in the front of the truck. It has a valve that when you pull the parking brake there is an air tank on the trailer that applies the brakes so if you open the drain valve the brakes release. All trailers have air tanks even if they are running a spring brake.

  • that poor truck, the clutch, the tires the transmission

  • So why not release the brake boosters? Its only 1 bolt

  • @19811402 this

  • trailer air valves r messed up happens all of the tyme

  • push the red button on the dash

  • Comment removed

  • Obviously his breaks failed on the main road and was trying to get his rig off the road, if you see behind the trailer, there is a cop car with flashing lights, if he dropped the trailer where it was, then he would of caused a hell of a traffic jam, so he did his best to get the trailer off the road.Thumbs up fella for doing the right thing.cheers from the Land Down Under

  • I wonder why he didn't just call for a mechanic to

    fix the trailer brakes?

  • fail :D

  • Love the old KNOW IT ALL bastard, he don't know shit about an air brake system.

  • that old fuck witt sounds like he knows all about trailer brakes let the air out he says dip shit maxi brakes lock by letting the air out

  • damn that sucks man..an all those assholes jus standin ther..shit u got all thum suvs sittin ther an thers gotta b a big truck pass by hook 2 that bitch an help him out..evin wit a semi u culd pull it cuz ud git traction on tha street..

  • the brakes did not lock because he crossed the road.. or hit the curb.. the only way fro them to lock is air failure.. a bunch of dummy's.. he wont get a ticket either.. there's no law about your brakes locking up.. the only way to geta ticket is if they find that he missed his pretrip..

  • Comment removed

  • is that diesel ducey

  • @nikari333999 bahhahahahahahah

  • I drive a tractor semi. I feel sorry for this guy the stress the bs. there is always something you got to deal with . yea he made it to this point with the trailer but how many othere stops does he have and how much money did he lose over this. I see all these vids that say stupid truck driver man yall have no clue of the thousands of thing that we GOT to pay attention to.

  • Comment removed

  • That old guy is a fuckin G

  • Poor guy... I imagen hes about to have a corinary hes so stressed out with his truck.

  • hmmmm go figure its a volvo.

  • He probably had a leak in the lines. That would suck, but just another bad day on the road. I just would not want that to happen in NJ. It is bad enough to drive through NJ and then for this to happen, it would be a misserable day.

  • Comment removed

  • he busted a air line, well or the air got to low and they locked trying to save air.btw big trucks use AIR brakes and i drive 1,so,ya

  • hes got to get his big mac only if his truck would work

  • I've been driving tractor trailers for over 25 years and this is the caliber of truck driver that is out there these days. Completely clueless. I blame the driving schools mostly. If the cheque clears, you've got a licence. I see this kind of this every day, driving with flat tires, no lights on the trailer, etc.

And the old fart in the coveralls in not much better with his advice. Bleeding the air from the tanks will engage the parking brakes on post 70's equipment.

  • @stunnedasmearse - I agree. I started to drive back in 2003, and I knew nothing more when I got out of the school than when I went in.. USTDS...Luckily I had a good trainer at my first job. I think the companies can be blamed a little too because they push people through training to get miles. But I do get irritated with know it all cage dwellers that have no idea how hard it is to run a 70 foot 80,000lb combination truck.

  • "GIVE ME A WHOPPER " "Someone get that man a Whopper quick" !!

  • have it your way

  • yellow button disengages tractor! red button disengages trailer! DUMBASS.

  • Comment removed

  • that old man didnt know what he was talkin about the reson the brakes were locked is cuse there was no air in the trailer thus causeing the spring brakes to inguage

  • exactly!! its the safety in case you loose air your brakes come on or for parking. one of two problems the guy didn't notice his red valve was out or his suply line had broken or disconected from his trailer.

either way their all idiots including the moron who went in front of the truck when he was kicking the hell out of the driveline. can you say YOUR FIRED!

  • after this accident, this guy is gonna be working at burger king.
