  • 1. Yes. You could, but it's easier to wire it this way, and you don't have to worry that someday your starter won't disengage.

    2. It can, but the louder beep is necessary as by the time the turbo timer shuts it down I'm usually 50ft away. And I don't want it to sound like any old toyota... :P

    3. What year is it? I wasn't sure what to do about the steering lock, but it turns out it was an easy fix once we had it all apart, just turn it 180 degrees on the shaft.

  • man this is old

  • Hi, This was a very nice install. Would you be so kind and answer some questions if able?

    1. Do you absolutely have to push the button until the engine starts? can't you just tap it and the the system will recognize the tach reading and stop cranking?

    2. Do you know if the lock/unlock function can be interfaced with the original Lexus security system? the distinctive beep is nice.

    3. Does anybody know how implement this in a GX470 w/ electric steering wheel moving upon key in ignition ?

  • I am very interested in how you did this. I have an IS and have been curious in doing this install but couldnt find any that has yet. Let me know

  • I am interested. Can you just direct message me?

  • teach me your ways
