  • this is great, I've been trying to attach handles with no success, I've been cutting them off wrong, now I know thanks to you...

You get a lovely sweeping curve, and no joins! Thanks!

  • Wow - I love the instruction here. Can't wait to try my hand at this again now that I have your method. Great video!!!

  • Thank you! I hope this helps you get those handles. I love doing handles but hated it when I first started with the lay the handle over the tube thing.

  • Very novel way of doing it! It makes sense to impart the curve while it is still very soft. No stresses that way!

  • Nancy, you make this look so easy! I've struggled over and over with handle application, but I think your method is ideal....can't wait to try it! Thanks so much!

  • I'm glad this helped you. If you make sure your mug is not too leather hard you shouldn't have a problem. If mine are I just throw a bag over the piece and let it sit overnight and then uncover...normally don't have any problem with cracking.

  • Nancy - I tried this method because I was having trouble getting that 'arch' and so far, the mugs look awesome! Hopefully there will be no cracking, but so far, so good!
