  • try the new taylors they are american made and sound and feel like it , not like chinese junk , even the gretchs are made in china sweat shops for profit.

  • Stop copying gibson models!

  • I never liked ibanez much especially the fact that not made here in the US. But i have to admit i changed my mind yesterday at Strait Music here in Austin..pretty nice feel and tone and sustain all together

  • I was trying out guitars at a store the other day, and this was by far my favorite. Honestly, I preferred the feel and of this guitar over a Gretsch. Only problem, the Artcore I was playing had some buzzing going on with the low E string, so I would check into that before buying.

  • "Artcore Theme"? Isn't it "The shadow of your smile?"

  • Love It ! ! ! !

  • I use a Semi Hollow Ibanez most of the time, And, I have the whole gamut of Gibson, My main axe there is the L4, And LP. The whole gamut, This is my preference, The Ibanez.

  • ffs ibanez give these guitars NORMAL names not CODES

  • @willemlol7

That's what I want to say to fucking EMG about!

  • guy playing the chords, next time tune up your guitar please :)

  • @bonamusicproductions Ha ! ...your right ! ..you would think a company bragging about metheny , scofield , and benson { the butler ? ...or george ?} would keep the bloody guitar in tune ...not only that ...but i have heard better jazz tones at my local pub. Well spotted sir. ...{ actually , you couldnt miss it could you ! }

  • I got an AM78T for in a trade for my old refinished shredder guitar.

  • I got an ibanez as73T in a trade for a squire telecaster

  • Stella by starlight.

  • cool

  • didn't see the amf73

  • what a sexy guitar and sexy sound i am buying the hollow body ibanez artcore<3 for life

  • the background music is amazing

  • this ad gives me desires to be a good guitar player xD

  • Eh, Luna Athena is better. I had to decide between the two.

  • I cant find the AJD91VLS anymore :(

  • I've got an AS73-TCR. Cheerz Ibanez x']

  • How about the upright bass? Now that is a full true traditional hollow body right there lol, I'd love to acquire that upright in the name of Ibanez. But I know it's not in their field to make bow instruments. haha

  • 8 ppl dont have one

  • if I take a semi-acoustic guitar and just record the sound from the pickups, would that sound any different from the sound of any electric guitar?

  • @VinylIsForever it would because the density of the wood is different from a solid body giving it a "hollow" sound more acoustic sounding

  • DAT GUITAR

  • I wish they made a seven string art core i bet it would sound beautiful

  • is it a good guitar cause i play rock like GnR or AC/DC so would it sound good then if i use it to play rock music?

  • @PiratePandasFly These guitars are actaully great for rock. It's not a Gibson Les Paul but the humbuckers give it a nice, warm tone that's good for clean, lead guitar playing. I plugged it up to my Marshall and rocked away!

  • Hey guys i'm thinking to buy one of these guitars but can you please tell me are these guitars good or bad while playing unplugged?

  • Ibanez Video on Jazz hollow and semi-hollow-body Electrics (f-hole)Sweet

  • I personally believe a hollow/semi-hollow body guitar is always going to be better than a solid state guitar no matter what style you play, except maybe like death metal . . .

  • Wunderbares Instrument!

  • I just bought one of the semi-hollow ones, very worth it,

  • the final 2 guitars look superb id definately look into these guitars

  • i love this promo!

  • WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SONG!?

  • I learned to play this song, you think I can get a free ibanez?

  • @270Gmoney

Do you have any scores or tabs?

    Please

  • @write94 To tell you the truth, I have no idea how to read tabs, I just watched the video

  • @270Gmoney i also learned it. lol

  • @270Gmoney

Why would you want a free Ibanez? Not trying to say Ibanez is bad, but why not a free Jackson, or Gibson?!

  • @TurkeyTuck gibsons are prone to braking and i dont like jackson that much.

    Why not a dean?

  • That looks like a fun video shoot.

Do you think reefer was involved?

  • ..I they were just like candies that you'd pick up from a store....=P

  • i wish i had one of there

  • I have the 335 style Artcore. Best Rock guitar I own.

  • Comment removed

  • I have the AJD model . It's pretty good , though it's not produced anymore.

  • @TheCyprusX the ajd looks really fucking amazing. they shdnt have stopped producing it

  • whats the name of the song there playing

  • @GRANDTOURBUSTA The Archtop Theme Song by Ibanez.....

  • what style of jazz is that? very nice

  • HOLY BAJESUS, IBANEZ IS UH-MAZING!

  • @SqRp777

    Not as amazing as Schecter.

  • Ibanez is the shiznitbiscuits!

  • Sorry guys I am first looking for an amp

  • dat as73bs is a mighty beuty

  • filteredwataaa i think what you where asking about wasn`t an effect, it was probably a jazz technique popularized by wes montgomery. its the root and its one step higher octave and when doing this you should probably turn down your tone knob and use your neck pickups. ex. 5th fret A string and 7th fret G string. hope you find the advise useful.

  • What chord at 0:50 ?

    I thought its an Bm7?

  • What effect is that that makes it sound like elevator solo?

Same that the guy from 311 uses on one of the solos to amber?

Some kind of reverb i think... but i'd still like to know.

  • @filteredwataaa I not sure but i think is a chorus in a very low volume and a long frecuence rate and a tube screamer drive that is used alot with blues well i get that sound with that

  • anyone got the full track in this ad?

  • My bass teacher (he teaches guitar mostly) has got Ibanez Artcore

  • I ordered an AGS83BBG and returned it. Great body, ugly neck finish, cheezy binding. They need to spend a little more on it -- I'd pay.

  • i have the one at 0:40 !! its quite nice

  • @MultiSimonMan Same here. It never lets me down. :P

  • correction - i own one since last friday. the as93 tv pk one. beautiful! :)

  • @burnsometrashcans correction 2) pv tk ;)

  • how much does the ajd91vls cost?

    looks good

  • The faux retro video production is really well done.

  • The one with the bigsby is so incredibly beautiful! WIsh I have a hollow body some day!

  • the shadow of your smile ?

  • @oeilfritte very similar isnt?

  • I got the AJD91 and sounds really good!...looks awesome!

My main guitars are a RG and a Se2170 and I got this for jazz/rock but it sounds decent with full overdrive too..feels great and sounds great..if you come from a speed-machine like a RG or similar, this will make you change the way you play a little bit diferent ..more clean approach, that is a good thing!

  • The Ibanez AS93 Artcore semiacoustic guitar has got to be the best ever semi acoustic!!! I have owned one for a couple of years and have never looked back.

  • They are between a Gibson and Fender scale. 24(something) . I like them, but I had a great Craigslist deal on a Epiphone Broadway and I went that direction. I'm a 6'6'' twohundred and plenty pounder, and I wanted the bigger box anyway.

  • @flashvideofan

They got every other detail so right that you figure they must have done it purpose. Maybe they wanted a cheezy logo to keep the bargain Artcore's from competing with the more upscale Artist series or something.

  • Comment removed

  • i cant find the AJD91on the ibanez page

  • @carol689 They removed it from their sortiment. You can still buy it new from various sites though.

  • oh ok, thanks

  • I got one of the cheaper artcores with the tone block as my first guitar and it's amazing. I have a strat, les paul, and an Ibanez EGEN and the artcore is atleast as stable tuning wise as the non-Ibanez guitars and has a usable unique flavor.

  • i got a AS 93 the other day and all i can say is that its AMAZING!!! cost me bout 800 dollars and it was so worth it.

  • @camerooniepooniepoo Do you know how much a Rickenbacker guitar costs? They don't even list the prices on MusiciansFriend. They just say to call for the price.

  • @camerooniepooniepoo

yeah i'm sure price wise they're just as affordable as ibanez guitars as well?

  • Keith LOL I have been working on it off and on. I love it, it's a great little tune.

    Ron.

    It't in G

    C m , D7, G, (Em), G

  • thanks;)

  • im about to get one

    pritty exighted.

  • @ronvermillion do you know the scale they use?

  • i want to learn that song so bad

  • I want the AF125AMBT

    Sooooo Bad!

    Ron

  • I want the AJD91!!

  • or get the ag85 i have and its amazing

  • Has anyone played or owned the AJD91 Artcore? It looks badass, but I can't find a vid on anyone jammin with it.

  • @ThaigerDon i do have the black version, the ajd71t and i can say its delicious

  • I agree, it is the most awesome guitar ever.

Oh and does anyone know what song they're playing? Or anything that sounds like it?

  • i have the one with the gold vibrato, i looked epiphones and other artcore guitars as well as gretsch

  • i played with one today lol so much reverb

  • I have the AS73BS. Check out my channel... I used it in my jazz band concert.

  • I agree! Awesome song :). I've been a big fan of Ibanez for a few years now. I own an Ibanez AS93. Very sexy guitar :P

  • I think the AG100NT is the sexiest, right behind the AG95

  • I love the song they play, I would love if somebody could show me at least the tab of the lead guitar.

    very nice guitars

  • Song is amazin

  • No tabs. Figure it out! :)

  • see my af85

  • Beautiful guitars. Right now I'm playing chord melody solo guitar with a strat, and its doing just fine but I would love a hollowbody to truly get the tone I'm after. I got my eyes on the Ibanez AF75TDG, the last white one they showed. Someday!

  • wondering if you can put a face place on a Ibanez Artcore AS73

  • Like a 335 but horns are a bit pointy, love mine, changed out the pu's, pots and switches. Got a couple vids up...just wish I could do benson style.

  • i bought a AS83 (discontunied but looks like AS93) semi hollow guitar on ebay for 257 dollars. used but doesnt look bad and is clean =]. get it sept 2- sept 9.

  • ahh i'd love to own one of these, too bad i'm a poor dude

  • I am poor also. I got my Ibanez used at GC for 149.00. Times are bad now is the time to deal.

  • @burnsometrashcans these are actually pretty cheap. some of them are like under 500 us

  • @burnsometrashcans someone gave me the semi-hollow one. it's pretty great. in pefect condition. i'm the luckiest dude

  • I want that AJD91

  • It's a very nice guitar, much better than any of the other Ibanez guitars. The guitar is lovely, but you've got to remember, it's still a budget guitar.

  • I actually just went with the AS73 and I love it. It's such great quality for 400 dollars.

  • hahhahah they have the same monitors as I do.. quested vh(vs)2108

how do ibanez guitars sound? are they any match for the gibson's stuff? and yeah is there a ibanez "replica" or "omage" to the es175? (I wanna buy me one of those, but don't have quite that much money)

    greets from serbia

  • My AF75 is the best sounding guitar I have ever played. I sold my Gibson335 I don't need it. The Ibanez replaced it.

  • can't believe it.. I'm about to buy a gibson tal farlow for 2k euros.. but I'm still likeing the af125 which goes around 1k euros.. didn't try it just heard it on youtube, so that's a problem.. and the tar farlow is the guitar of my favorite jazz musitian here, so I know how it sound without even trying it.. but I have an opportunity to try it anyway.. so I'm a little torn now.. which should I buy? I'm looking for a good jazzbox..

    peace

  • I played the Ibansz and fell in love with it.

Less than 30 minuets later It was mine. I went back and looked at the Gibson five times and was talked in to it. I love Gibson stuff . Now you pay a lot just for the name and history. Ibanez you just pay for a great sounding guitar. Let me know what you do.

  • I bought the black strat style one when they first came out.I paid about $500 for it with case and the damn thing rocks!!Ive used it to play metal and blues with no problems!Just tweak the amp and your good to go!Great guitars!5stars!

  • Me too - I'm just waiting for it to arrive! Can't wait!

  • I have in black. Very hard to find.

  • Im thinkin about getting the ajd 91 model. i would love to hear some thoughts about it.

  • I've just bought this guitar.. it's going to arrive either today or tomorrow. I will let you know :-)

  • I'm not Really a blues guitarist, I'm more into Beatles and classic rock, do you think this type of guitar will suit me, I'm considering getting one, I play a normal Acoustic at the moment but have had my rock moments on my strat. The Artcore's are beautiful guitars.

  • i want one of these so bad!!!

  • my god...

i really like george benson's type of sound, which (mid range) artcore would emulate it best? ~thanks:)

  • af-105 f.

  • Is there a name to this jingle? Other than "Artcore" / is there a tab?

  • i love this piece

  • I got the ivory <3

  • theres actually like 5 other artcores available

  • can u pl do a review on the guitar which u hav on the left side at 001 srcs plplpl n tell me

  • 0:19

  • @ 0:46 . . .that is mine . . .ahh . . .

  • does it sound good with a bit of overdrive?

  • yea. its really versitile, but i use it in jazz

  • do hollow bodies have a good normal acoustic sound?

  • not as loud an acoustic, but the ibanez are pretty nice, i prefer gretsch for hollow bodies though

  • do u know guitars can u help me?

  • i have a artcore axd81, t hey stopped making it though, it looks like a les paul but its semi hollow, if you can find one i reconmend getting one. probly around 400 dollars

  • i want a les paul gibson or epiphone but wich 1 i chould choose i don''t know?

  • wow, thats a bunch or real nice guitars, and backing track!

  • Ibanez guitars are great

the solid bodies you can play anything from metal to grunge to classic rock and beyond

the hollow bodies are great for jazz, blues, and some rock

and the acoustics are just fantastic

great for the Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds type of stuff

and best of all they're very cheap

  • Exactly, the only draw back is the cheaper materials has little flaws, but by changing 2 or 3 pieces they become some of the most affordable, high quality guitars.

  • is there any place i can download this song? I just think is amazing.

  • I agree, its really nice :D Maybe if we email Ibanez nicely...haha

  • I want tabs for the artcore theme

  • work it out by ear :P have a go at it sounds hard at first but it's all clean so you can hear every note if not I'll tab it if you really like

  • Man the Ibanez theme song is just awesome.

  • its not just awesome, it ROCKS! IBANEZ FTW!!

  • WOHW I own the af75 and it sounds almost excactly like the one in this vid :P

  • I've got an AM73 (maple-bodied AS73) - upgraded the pups to Seth Lovers and had vintage wires/caps installed. Played next to a box-stock new 335, 8 of 10 people said the Ibanez sounded better...and cost less than 1/4 the price of a 335.

Since I'm not 12 like 'icerial' I'm not hung up on 'labels' - I just play what sounds good. Didn't need to spend $1000 - $2500 on a Gibson or a Gretch to make great music. Just a cr*pload of practice.

  • whats the difference between a semi acoustic and a electric acoustic??
