Two odd things I know about this fight.

1. If you have Magic Lock-On (I think you have to level up to get it), it's possible to spam Thunder or Magnet from... anywhere on the field to win.

2. If you let yourself fall in the nothingnes, you'll touch ground. There's solid ground in the middle of space for this fight.

I noticed that they changes the lasers in FM+. Normally he uses them each time you knock of his shield, but now he uses them the 2nd time he knocks you off.

It doesn't matter what you have him set on for this fight. His AI is improved for this and the Final final battle, since you literally need him. (I said final twice on purpose ^_^)

I guess but I think it's a tad more complicated seeing as he does attack on his own accord several times. He does have a different AI though since Riku in the final battle actually has a slightly altered base fighting stance.

This whole chain of comments had me wondering if maybe they did that so all the crazy attacks they gave Xemnas wouldn't seriously complicate up the Final battle...Imagine if Riku was dead easily, like a OHKO'd Jack Sparrow in the battle versus Barbossa.

In KH1, he had less HP and burned MP so fast, Axel would envy him, so he can't cure himself as often, though he could do it consecutively at times since Goofy used MP Gift quite often.

In KH2, he has more HP and still burns his MP fast, but he's slower on Cures and seems to have crappier defense/AI.

In any case, I just think it's silly that Donald has no real preventive measures to him get OHKO'd.

In my experience Donald fares far better in KHI. With Second Chance, Aero, and at least enough HP to survive ONE attack (even in Expert), and he knew how to avoid some attacks

KHII strips him of Second Chance, Aero, the MP, and denies Once More. After the first Cure (which he usually burns on Sora as he's about to heal himself anyway), he's a goner.
