One of DeNiro's finest moments this film. Very underrated, but you can clearly see his influences, the narrative, the script, the music, the vibe, and he pulls it off superbly. Chazz Palminteri commands the screen with ease. DeNiro holds back well, and gives a very subtle performance. A1.

this little gem existed long before "A Bronx Tale", and while it's sorta manipulative...it tends to demonstrate in a subtle way who may be very self-centered.
