I actually can't help but feel bummed for Midas. His death actually kinda got me feeling uneasy first time around.

Prometheus, I had some respect for, and felt guilty when he died and Kratos used his remains as a new weapon. But Midas? I didn't feel anything with his Han Solo-esque freezing. If anything, his actions and words seemed contradictory. When a man asks why the gods won't let him die, why does he struggle so hard to stay alive? It made no sense to me.

@DethMagnetik Because then his gloves would turn into gold. SOLID gold. And he wouldn't be able to move his hands.

@Lulzman69 you would think that but ive seen shows that depict Midas and they wrap something around, like a cloth. sure the cloth turnned gold but nothing that touched the cloth did

@Lulzman69 One example that i remember off the top of my head doesnt have to do with midas himself. but in Aladdin and the 40 thieves (or something) they find a tool known as the midas touch (or something, been a while since ive seen it) thats in the shape of a hand and turns to gold whatever it touches, except when wrapped with cloth at the end

@Lulzman69 it deals with turning everything to gold, even the cloth, but once the cloth is gold, nothing else turns gold. If King Midas wore gloves, sure his hands would be heavy but thats a small price to pay if it would stop him from turning everything else to gold
