I actually teared up at 1:52 as it's the scene that always gets me, Allen's ( Tom Hanks ) look on his face when he see's Madison ( Daryl Hannah ) always makes me all emotional.

This should be used on music channels when they do " TOP 100 Songs " from the Movies as this song needed a video and nothing could come close to what you have created.

I think this is one of the best films of the 80s. The humour is excellent and the love between the two characters feel so real. I want this film to be restored on blu ray now!

If I could go back in time to the 1985 Oscars, I would nominate this for "Best Original Song". BTW the lyricist of the song, Will Jennings, also wrote "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic and "If We Hold On Together" from The Land Before Time, both with composer James Horner.

I really like this song and vid. I saw Splash when I was 8 even though the movie came out when I was 3. It was such a sweet and romantic modern day fairy tale, kind of like the little mermaid but with a much better ending. :) I wish they made more movies like it now.

Struck a very strong chord with me this song did, which showed the mermaid and main character ending up entering an Atlantis like utopian undersea world at the end credits. I still say to this day, it is the most beautiful ending to a film I have ever seen. I can't think of anything more romantic or beautiful really. And this song really capped it well.

When I first saw this i was 10yrs old and to this day I still get the same feelings every time I watch it.
