  • Awesome! Loved it!

  • Awesome rhythm!!!!! You guys dance well together. I enjoy your videos. Happy dancing!!!

  • @kimmierose05 Thanks for watching and commenting :) Very nice to hear! :)

  • Awesome rhythm but your need to turnout , crossover and get off your heels! :)

  • @SkittleBug6 Sure thing :) Thanks!

  • I always had a hard time with the hornpipe because there were so many tiny steps to it! Treble Jig is still my favorite :)

  • @velvetsnape I know i know.. You can really put all ur energy into the treble reel, love it too :)

  • @Irish858Dancer Nope, just danced together for a while :)

  • That was cool, you look the same.

  • @natali601 Aha thanks :) Yeah, wearing the same thing achieves that ;)

  • Well done! The Hornpipe has become something of "The Wild Colonial Boy" or The Grateful Dead's "Ripple". Lots and lots of verses over the years.

This is the 5th step I learned 30+ years ago. But, like I said, you don't know what you'll get with a hornpipe. Lots of artistic license out there.

    These cats were thumpin'.

  • @golfalot1

    Hahah thankyou :)

Have never known how this fitted into the history of the hornpipe... As i can imagine, it must have gone in all different directions :)

Wow, 30 years ago... Are you a dance teacher now? :)

  • i refuse to believe those are two different people! they look so alike and same movements!! great!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Cecy247

    Hahaha oh thankyou!

    Nice to hear! :)

  • Oh i'm not sure we don't compete lol.

    Thats a pretty old video!xx

  • @Jayistirishdance Did exams recently... Completed level 10... Just to let you know :)

  • nice rhythm but your turn out and crossing needs to be majorly improved.

  • @xXxshivvyxXx agreed! but they don't compete, so...ya...i'm guessing they just do it for fun. and background music would make it sound more interesting my thinking....just a tip for them if they read this...if you competed, feet out and crossed, BIG thing judges are looking for! as well as on your toes and no bent legs...clear trebles etc.

  • @lovedarlingjulie2435

Yeah, you picked it... Just do it for fun and for demonstrations as no-one around the area has ever seen irish dance except for on riverdance :)

Background music.. Noted :) Next time we will...

Thanks for the advice... Will try apply it to our dancing so it looks generally better :)

  • @Jayistirishdance lol ya. its okay! you guys aren't bad! what school u at again? where do you live? im in Canada...so ya...but i know a lotta schools...

  • @xXxshivvyxXx Alrighty, thanks :)

  • awesome

  • It might be some of the angle but not all. I shouldn't be able to see the heel of her left foot at all and I can. Other than the turn out they have nice rhythm and the dance is lovely.

  • @gabbygurtie Thanks for the advice, will work on turn out anyway :)

  • I love this...getting dizzy b/c the camera keeps going in and out of focus :(. Otherwise, very nice!

  • very nice! beautifully turned out, just maybe cross over a tad more but really nice. great timing and rythem. thnx for sharing. xxx
