Hello respected doctor. Can you please comment for me on why anesthesiologists get paid the same or more than surgeons do? It is my understanding that they have little overhead as well, which increases their net profit. At first I thought that perhaps anesthesiologists have to pay large insurance premiums, but I would assume that surgeons have to pay the same. What do you say about this? Hope to hear from you.
