na i dont think anything will put you on the mat except maybe a really hard tsuki. anyway yeah ive seen some really good girl kendoka. and if people look down on you because of your gender then their opinion isn't worthwhile in the first place. nothing will send sexists into the corner with their tails in between their legs quite like a good hard men strike from a confident woman ;). good luck

Too slow, they're faking it. In Kendo you should be slowing down the camera.  And their cuts are all wrong, their arms are bent into horrible positions, they strike too slowly, the are not synchronised.

More importantly, when they make a Men cut and run past, they're doing it so slowly! My sensei would kick the shit out of me if I did that!

the video has been slowed down during the edition. Moreover, this is a kendo study, and the video has been made when they were training. How do you want to notice where your mistakes are if you go too fast.This is not a competition, they don't need to do so. But this is not fake at all, the cuts are not hat great but not wrong, in a geiko, you're moving... Nothing can be perfect. I'm pretty sure you missed a lot of cuts yourself.

You have to, its part of intimidating you opponent. Screaming and yelling is known as kiai. One must always use kiai to demonstrate a vigorous spirit.
