  • your hair came out so good!

  • thxs 4r the tips im goin natural and ur vids really helped me

  • What is your hair type? Is it a 4 A or B or C? I want to try a twist out on my natural hair but I'm a little nervous that it won't turn out the way yours turned out.

  • So silky and beautiful. I love it!!

  • was your completely dry or was it damp?

  • was your comp;letely dry or was it damp?

  • You should be a partner girl. Look at your hits!

  • THIS IS SOOO PRETTY!! :0)

  • You have very pretty hair, i wish my hair was that easy to maintain...

  • man that style really works for u it is really pretty

  • Your hair is so pretty wow.

  • Is there any other product that u would suggest that could be used instead of the miss jessie's stretching creme that could be purchased at a drug store or beauty supply store?

  • I love that color!:D what kind did you use??

  • Hi prettydimples01,

I have watch your video and tried this style and love it!!!!!!! I used the cream for sister locks. I have a fine grain of hair, so I was hoping for more curls. I didn't wash my hair, but next time I am going to go that route. With my hair being so fine, the heat in LA, and the humdity, I'm not sure how long it will last, But thanks for this video. I have also watcch a few of your other videosas well.

  • What hair type is yours? I'm transitioning back to natural and when I saw you video it looked exactly how my hair would shrink up after a wash. I'm not sure what I am (3 or 4 b)

  • I think we have twin hair....This is really cute!!!!

  • Just how often do you wet your hair? I have major shrinkage and very new to natural styles. I have about 6 inches of natural hair but really no clue what to do. I watch your videos alot, but exactly how often are you wetting it?

  • girl it wasnt rediculous it was fly

  • Lavender is definitely your color.

  • You have beautiful natural hair. I see all ur videos with all ur different hair styles. You never perm your hair??? I always perm my hair. I always have straight hair. Boring straight hair. I want something differerent. I am gonna try your hair styles. Also I wanna to do with my daughter. She has beautiful long natural curling hair. Everytime I want to do make her hair curling but come out frizz hair. She never perm her hair. I refuse have her hair perm. How can I make her stay curling hair??

  • Hi love your videos we have the same hair texture so it alows me to work with your styles knowing how it will look before I do it now the product you use I cannot fnd in the uk can I use olive oil pudding or is there a difference in consistency

Thanks look forward to your continuous hair do's

    Bless

  • Was your hair slightly air dried or jus towel dried?

  • I have a few questions, please and I don't think I saw them asked (this new format is killing me). Since you used the Cantu Shea Butter as your leave-in conditioner in this video, did it bead up (or did white balls appear) on your hair after apply the styling product? I've heard many say that Cantu doesn't seem to work when mixed with other products. Also how long did you leave the Cantu on your hair before doing this style?

  • can you do this hair style when your transitioning?

  • i just started transitioning not too long ago and im looking to color my hair but dont want to use anything too harsh on it..do u have any suggestions on what kind of coloring products i should use..i love the auburnish red in ur hair also its gorgeous!!!!!..

  • Nice, now I can use this to help me with my natural hair. Thanks

  • I really like this! How did you put the color in your hair?

  • too cute! this is gonna b my new years hair =^_^=

  • your hair is so cute

  • I just started watching yur videos, who is Mrs Jessie?

  • Did you retwist b4 bed?

  • very cute!

  • girl, my aunt and i LOVE,LOVE LOVE what u do to ur hair!!!!!!!! Iam in the process of growing the perm out of my hair, and i get inspired just watching you. Keep up the pretty dos and keep us posted!!!

  • I love this style....do it all the time, thanks to your vid :) ... As an alternative...I actuallly learned how to do flat twists from one of your other vids...and have been wearing flat twists going straight back just like cornrows, and in the morning take them out, and get just about the same look....to put the flat twists in every night is very simple and quick, and you get a great style!!! .... Love your vids as always!

  • your hair came out very lovely. i have been watching your videos for a while now and decided to my own twist out. the first time i did it, it came out horrible, but when i did it the second time I used miss jesse's, shea butter and water and my hair came out very nice. thanks for all of your wonderful videos :) Im will be going natural from now on.

  • very pretty!!

  • Absolutely beautiful. I'm so happy that sistas are telling the world how beautiful their hair is and that we appreciate too.

  • u got really beautiful hair texture u actually inspired me to go natural for good this time i tried b4 and i failed cos my hair looks dry and breakdown so much. What do u use to keep from drying and breakage? Pls answer me i really wanna know to be sure this time round i do everything the right way. Thanx

BTW u r very pretty and i love ur dimples and ur confidence take care

  • ladyzaza90- i have several videos on conditioners that i use

  • @ladyzaza90 hows it going? Im just starting...

  • Your hair came out great!

  • lol, how did you know people fast forward..you said it instantly after I did, it was if you were talking to me directly..too funny . Great vide, Im just in a lil hurry today...Peace

  • You do such a nice job on your hair!! love it..I am struggling with mines and almost about to give up. I have been in transition for a year, still have perm on the ends. do you think this will work for me? I love the look...

  • cute!

  • I love your videos i reccommend you to my friends all the time when they are feeling down about their do's!!

  • you have no clue how u inspired me to go natural I love ur hairstyles

  • that turned out very pretty!!!

  • Love the color..i have natural as well dyed it jet black but now want a front color like yours or a deep red...did you have to bleach first? and did you hair break off bad if you did?

  • that is so cute! my hair is relaxed though......so my hair doesn't come out as nice as yours does......and it is way more loose (too loose).

  • cute...

  • i love all the hairstyles you do!...they are really nice. i especially like the extra touch that the hair color in the front has on your styles. Great videos!! =)

  • I'm sure i commented on this video a while ago, but I just love your hair - color and all. It looks soooo cute every time!!

  • The style u wore to work was cute and a good idea too ;-)

  • They turned out pretty good the 1st time with a lot more volume than the 2nd go round....probably because I had more twists the 1st time. I'm attempting the style you did after the avocado conditioner...with no knowledge of how you did it. Lawd have mercy...wish me luck!

  • How did you keep your roots from being so poofy/nappy? I've twisted my hair out twice and both times they haven't been the straightest.

  • badgirl780- my roots aren't straight when i do a twist out but when i twist i try to get close to the roots as possible

  • Thank you so much for the wonderful video. I shampooed and deep conditioned yesterday. I twisted with Cantu Shea butter this morning. I will try the coconut oil tomorrow. THANK YOU!!!! Your hair looks great I hope my results are similar.

  • aw such a pretty girl

did you ever experience noticeable damage from dying your hair??

  • ParisBoo00- no i didn't but i try to make sure i condition very well to prevent any major damage.

  • So I tried this using the cantu shea butter leave in conditioner and Carol's daughter Kizzi pomeade. I'm untwisting it in the morning and will let you know if it was a disaster or success. I'm hoping for the later.

  • badgirl780- so how did your twist turn out

  • I love this style. Do you have an alternative to Ms Jessie's straight silkening cream? It's a bit expensive for my likening. Do you think Kinky Curly Curling Custard would work just as well?

  • badirl780- well the kccc is not really a twist out product but it wouldn't hurt to try. other than that you could just use a leave in condtioner if you want

  • hi badgirl..i did try my twist outs with kccc..i didnt really like the results because it was somewhat dry & kind of hard..probably needed to add somethin else to it besides the knot today..but some got good results from their twistouts with kccc

  • Thanks Meeks. Yeah I don't think I'll use it then. I'll just have to break down and get Ms Jessie's expensive products. I wish they were sold retail so I could avoid the high priced s & h.

  • HAVE U EVER RELAXED YOUR HAIR?

IF SO.. HOW LONG DID IT TAKE U TO GROW IT BACK TO THAT LENGTH??

    ps ur gorgeous!!

i wish more black girls went natural

...i have a feeling relaxers will slowly die out

  • JamaicanCutei18- yes i have had a relaxer before. its been 4 years since i have had one.

  • So cute! The definition is what I'm shooting for...I'm going to try the cantu and maybe IC since I don't have Ms. Jessies and see how that works. My twistouts always get fuzzy really quick!

  • very cute!

  • Pretty! i lov how defined your twist outs are.

  • Too cute. I love the style and the color on you.

  • OH I forgot to mention u hair is soooo cute!!!

  • Where can I get the products ur talkin about in the vid?

  • I'm not quite sure if I saw a question like this or not, but how did you sleep on it? did you wrap it up? tye it down? or just put a bonnet on it? (Hope you understand what I'm trying to say.) I just twisted my hair like 20 minutes ago, so hopefully in the morning it'll come out cute. Thanks. Your videos really help out a lot. My hair has been natural for over a year, but they stayed in twist so I didn't have to do anything to it. Now, I'm trying to do something new. Again, thanks.

  • ctdobard- yea i just put on a bonnet at night and shake in the morning

  • do your hair have to be natural like i got a relaxer

  • crazycutemean- i really don't understand the question

  • You can still do a twist out on relaxed hair. I believe that's what you were asking.

  • your hair looks gorgeous.....im afraid mine might not come out like yours...lol

  • IFE31- it won't come out like mine it will come out like your hair is and im sure it will be just as beautiful. don't compare too much b/c then you will never be satisfied. so try it out

  • your hair looks great!!

  • my favorite style

  • I loved it when it was twisted with the flower as well. I could rock that all day.

  • that is so freakin cute! It's amazing what we can do with our natural hair. I'm so glad I haven't relaxed in over a year and a half. Your videos rock! thanks for sharing them

  • PRETTYDIMPLES01, was your hair damp or dry before you did the twists? Do you think twisting on dry hair makes less shrinkage? Thanks, girl! And as always, pretty style!

  • twistsandcurls- it was wet. you can do it on hair blown out and yes it will show more of the length

  • so so so cute!

  • are their products good?

  • NaturalBrownBeauty- yes i love their products

  • Oh my gosh your hair is as my friend and i would say "BOMB!" Your hair color is so cute...and i love doing twist outs but it only lasts for the day and my hair ends up being so dry later...i plan on trying to twist it with just water and coconut oil to see what happens

  • You are gorgeous and so is your skin, hair & dye job!

  • Your so pretty! I love the flower, I'm gonna get myself a flower hehe : )

  • just wonderful!!

  • love your hair color and texture!

  • is there a certain way to twist the hair?

  • JAYNEESY- no just take two peices and twist. :)

  • loves it!!!

  • Very cute. I like the colors you have in as well. :)

  • I look forward to trying this style

  • very cute! - black soap! I love the purple flower.

  • wonderful job and you have a pretty curl pattern.( wanna trade, I have the tightest curl pattern which is a 4b).

  • 249money- my hair is about the same

  • Yes! It was qt the way you wore it to work pinned up. Different! And it looked just as nice when you took it down. Messin around with you. Ima be right! Thank you ma'am!

  • Thanks for the video, I just got my BC last weekend and I am so excited. I will be trying this style soon.

  • I just tried this method using Miss Jessie's Curly Meringue mixed with aloe gel--and 3 days later it still looks good!

So thanks again for making this vid.

  • I have hair just like yours 4c? Now I have to watch your videos to figure out what to do with it all. I've been natural for three years now!

  • TOOOOOO CUTE!

  • OMG I've heard about and been wanting to try to sharmpoo with black soap!!! DID you notice any difference? I love the way it came out!!

  • Isn't miss jessie's silkening cream a texturizer??? are you supposed to use that as a regular cream?

  • saniarb- no they have a silkening cream that is a texturizer but what im using is not

  • OMG you need to open up own natural hair salon b/c the styles, hair colors, and techniques you be using is fierce!

  • Zanni994- lol that would be nice.

  • very pretty!!! how long did it take to do the big twists?

  • thepoetzwife- only like 15 min

  • your hair came out really nice.

  • hey Prettydimples01 I didn't make it to the hair show in ATL i was wondering if you know where i can go to find out what new products and vendors was there. thanks

  • jewels718- you can go on line

  • such a beautiful result!!

  • your inspired me!!! and you and your hair = beautiful!! <33

  • you^ inspired me!!!

  • The only thing I can think of to prevent shrinkage is to use less product because I think the moisture causes it to shrink.

  • Like the hair...you said the stretch silkening cream had a hold to it...later on did it have the same hold..or did it ease up a little bit?

  • Boopsiee- no it had that feel the whole time. i don't know if i like it because it made my hair feel hard. :(

  • Your hair came out really nice & defined. I like it!

  • i like the way you rock you twists tho.

  • I love that avacado mix. I have found that If you put vitamine E or something Like pepermint oil in it it doesnt spoil. they are preservatives(spellcheck lol). I freak out at the sight of mole that would be one funny video. lol your hair is the bizz!

  • epoladee- oh i'll have to try putting vitamin E in it. thanks for the tip

  • ur hair is beautiful!! It has been a year since I am transition to my natural hair, i am wondering, what type of hair texture do you have? I think I am a 4a or 4b i still do not know lol but again, your styles comes out really nice =)

  • This is one of my fav lazy styles. I call it lazy because you can look super cute with it but without a lot of effort.

  • That's very pretty! U've inspired me..

  • Girl, all yur hair styles come out BEAUTIFUL!!

  • I took your advice and went to the dollar tree and rack up on flowers!! LOL!!

  • very nice mama! i love cantu shea butter. it does wonders for my hair!

  • 4 months. should i get kinky twists again?

  • Your curls are so defined with this method. I never thought to wash my hair with the black soap. I do use it for my body. I will try that.

  • hey now ..... your hair is beautiful as always. What kind of black soap do you use? I picked up some liquid black soap and dodu-osun bar black soap in NYC recently. Do you get knots in the end of your strands and if so what do you do??????

  • MsBlkRegal- im not sure what kind but i got it from the hair show. i didn't like the way if felt afterwards so i may not do that again. when i get knots i just detangle as good as i can.

  • Miss Dimples ........ I meant the ones that individual hair strands get by coiling unto themselves and knotting?

  • I get that same problem! It actually makes my hair break off because of it. I've been trying to find a solution, if there is one. But when you find out, please let me know. lol

  • Pretty, I love your purple make up too

  • omg its sooo hard for me to do that, im transitioning and everytime i twist my hair it comes undo.then when i take it out the ends are sa str8 from the relaxed ends >:(

  • since you are transitioning your ends probably wont stay, I used the blue perm rods to roll only the ends. that helped me alot when I was transitioning

  • i normally do a bantu knot set. and then twist the hair and it stays. how long have you been transitioning for?

  • She has been natural for 4 years

  • Very pretty! I have Miss Jessie's Silkening Cream and used it for wash and go's, but I'll try it the next time I do my twist outs. Thanks for the idea!
