This is one of those good games that doesn't get a lot of publicity, and if you can get this off of Steam or whatever, you will feel sated with what you paid for it. It's one of those games that really can't be overplayed because there's a lot of content. I want to see more games like this in the future.

I honestly don't think the graphics could be any better. I mean with 400+ people on the field it kinda restricts it a bit. And I'm sure taleworlds were just concidering the average customer who doesn't have $1,500 stuck up their ass somewhere to buy a computer capable of playing their game... A small budget tends to produce just that, with the exception of Sins of a Solar Empire which had a relatively small budget but still manages to look pretty damn good and not to mention the scale of the game itself is just amazing- but back on topic, stop being fucking fanboys and just be real. wow the game is bugged. its all in all the same fucking game. the sieging is ridicoulos just like in the first one the soldiers are just waiting in a line on the ladder. its a slaughter fest. its looking at your soldiers getting slaugtered. when i played tournament the AI fucking failed. there were NPC's who just were stuck in riding into a wall over and over a fucking again. THIS IS A FAIL. If this game drops under 10 $ you are allowed to buy it if you want to but i warn you not to.
This really is a bloody brilliant game. Sure the graphics aren't the best, but they're not especially that bad either, or atleast not from my point of view. Both single player and multiplayer is challenging and great fun! And the best thing is, you basiacly shape the single player story yourself! Spent about 80 hours in game so far, and I'm far from being bored n' tired off it! I really recommend this game.
The graphics are bad.. it looks pretty much like a better detailed rome total war.. zoomed in. Rome total War is like 5 years old... or older. You'd have to be a fanboy to not admit this.

It's a great game, but don't say DX9 is gonna make it look pretty, it wont. I have a great machine and the graphics mod, still dated, but it's a fantastic game.
With the HDR and other options maxed, the outdoor graphics in game look pretty good imo - actually reminds me a bit of Oblivion visually (though a lot more fun to play). Don't know if the reviewer had his settings turned down (or was not in DX9 mode) but this video doesn't really do the visuals justice.
The review is right about it being great fun and unique though. Can't really think of any other game that plays like it (apart from the original).
Actually, I have to disagree on the graphics part. Now the original M&B (Which I play FOREVER!) had bad graphics compared to nowadays games. But with this expansion, the graphic quality increased amazingly. I couldn't tell I was playing the same game. The armor/weapons quality is great now. And for the world map, I think they wanted it to have a map-y feel. Anyways, great game for around 15$, go get it if you like exploration/openended RPGs.

If you don't like the graphics you could always check the HDR option and up the settings. By default, the graphic settings are set to medium even if you have a good PC. It won't make it look like Crysis, but it helps a bit.
This guy is using DX7, I can notice, i use these settings as well. Thats pretty weird though, at 1280x1020 on Intel integrated graphics, my computer runs the game better than his. No wonder he thinks the graphics are bad, his computer must be complete crap. :P
The game certainly is not about the graphics, the gameplay beats the graphics completely numb, especially online is where this game is good but is allot more difficult seeing its against real humans controlling the characters you are fighting now...

But with this expansion, the graphic quality increased amazingly. I couldn't tell I was playing the same game. The armor/weapons quality is great now. And for the world map, I think they wanted it to have a map-y feel. Anyways, great game for around 15$, go get it if you like exploration/openended RPGs.

this game is totally addictive,single player is open ended so u can play it for years wich is great.but the best point is so many peeps are doing mods for it(best are cRPG for multiplayer or custom commander for single player)so it s hard to get bored of it:D MUST BUY if ur looking for something different..

Yea this game rocks.. but i just hate that my computer kinda laggs in the big battles. Would be great to have a computer like this guy's... look at the amazing smoothness! :O Like a really good shower gel xD So i mean... to me the game rocks forever, but draws the experience down for me with graphical issues... ( I am horribly outdated graphics-wise...) But only in large battles that is. :P

This review is spot on, the graphics are shit, and they mention that's really it's only fault. I have a few texture mods that make it look better and great specs, but anybody who says the graphics are good is lying to themselves.

The graphics are good seemings here can be hundreds (thousands with mods i think there is one for warband but not cirtain). This game was made to play on low to mid end sytems so more poeple can buy it its awsome!!!

I bought my computer in 2005, haven't upgraded since, and still run M&B with better graphics, without lag. So before you try to criticise a game's graphics as a 'professional', do upgrade your system.

If you don't like the graphics you could always check the HDR option and up the settings. By default, the graphic settings are set to medium even if you have a good PC. It won't make it look like Crysis, but it helps a bit.

This guy is using DX7, I can notice, i use these settings as well. Thats pretty weird though, at 1280x1020 on Intel integrated graphics, my computer runs the game better than his. No wonder he thinks the graphics are bad, his computer must be complete crap. :P

The game certainly is not about the graphics, the gameplay beats the graphics completely numb, especially online is where this game is good but is allot more difficult seeing its against real humans controlling the characters you are fighting now...

@NecramoniumKISSvideo Graphic emphasis game aren't fun. Take Crysis for example that crap smell after 3 of finishing the campaign...the multiplayer is unoriginal and boring. If I were a critic I would give minus point to any game that put DM, TDM, and CTF together in a game...becuz I am tired of seem them. They are repetitive and did I mention OVERUSE?

i love it but you need a powerfull pc or laptop like the m11x to get the best out of the huge battles. i accually prefer this to the total war series because the battle are better.
