I've always thought the series "Dallas" with Larry Hagman was a sequel to "I Dream of Jeannie" where Tony Nelson was granted a wish, or cursed, into being J.R. Ewing.
Originally telecast in black and white on December 11, 1965. Some versions of this episode currently available lack Richard Wess' original music score- with fragments of that score "recycled" throughout most of the episode, and some new music cues used to fill in the remaining moments.
