Well, the 12 or so times I saw them between 1989 and 1993 they weren't staring at their shoes. Deb was jumping around like a mad thing, and Kevin and Bilinda spent most of their time looking at their hands. That term was coined for the chancers who turned up after 91 or so, Chapterhouse, Moose and the like.

i love those fucking tape strings with them.. the slightly odd song structure, belinda's tremolo bar/pitch bend mimicking 'hooh's, that awesome hammered piano or dulicimer..

Yep,a lot of my favourite mbv tracks are on the EPs.I think the reason they get ignored is that they are so hard to find on CD.The two albums should be expanded to include the EP tracks,especially as the Realise and Feed EPs sound like they belong on Isn't Anything and Tremolo and Glider on Loveless.
