When the solo kicks in its like rockets launching! The Feelies stand over the American guitar rock revival like the unassuming Hall of Famer who manned second base with perfect ablomb while others collected the big money and fame.

I never realised how much of an influence Lou Reed was for the Feelies until I saw this clip. Bloody brilliant band.

Absolutely, When I saw The Feelies last month (and they ARE playing shows, as they did last year), they played 3 Velvet Underground songs in their set (Sunday Morning, What Goes On, and We're Gonna Have A Real Good Time Together). They have also been Lou's ooening act.

Possibly my all time favorite Feelies song and what a great version of it! Possibly the most criminally underrated band of all time. So glad I got to see them once live!
