desertboi84 ...to answer your question, both of my parents are shown in this video & they did not leave quickly...My Dad, Bob May, The Robot in Lost in Space & my Mother were there all day & even went to the private reception after where my Father gave a toast for Guy. They were honered to be there for a special day for a man they both loved & respected very much!
Thank you for sharing this. You put a huge smile on my face. It was nice to see the cast of LIS and Zorro after all these years. Guy Williams came to venezuela once. Don Diego and Prof Robinson will live forever in my mind :)
absolutely fantastic clip kirk. It was great to see the cast members all those years down the track. It's great to read the comments, and seeing that i am not the only person in the world who was so hooked on this show. When it came out in 1966, every tuesday night (Australia) was the hightlight of my week to see LIS. I have just been re discovering it on foxtel. sadly, Imissed the first 5 episodes, but, have been keeping up with it all so far
Thank you Kirk. Guy Williams was my childhood hero! Zorro and Professor John Robinson. Wow!
I had always hoped to meet him. When I heard the news of his untimely death back in '89, I moped around for a week. Too bad he couldn't be here to see this ceremony in person.
how cool it is that you got the LIS "kid's" in a group (hug) shot with his real son! very enjoyable! i wonder where june & mark were & why "smith" & "robot" left so quickly!?
did a Phenomenal job on this video-i encourage you to go to these events and capture more stars of the past-for all of us around the world who cant make it to these events-we rely on folk like you to keep these visions alive for all who love these stars*
Guy is such a memorable character, for me, because I idolized him and the Lost in Space crew. I was just totally obsessed and thrilled with this series. It made me dream, u know? I wanted to believe the story was true, so bad!!! But of course it wasn't. However, we can still dream can't we?
muuuuuiiiiito bom! Guy era sem dúvida um grande homem, pena que teve um fim triste. gostei do vídeo. gostaria que tivesse legenda em português, porque meu inglês é sofrível.
Kirk, thank YOU so much for posting this! It was the closest thing to actually being there and experiencing it in person. Many faces of LIS cast and towards the end you can almost hear Marta saying "incredible" and "very, very special man." Great to see Robert in there too meeting and greating too! You guys have really done quite a job. Thnx for the post!
Guy Williams was THE perfect Father on Lost in space! I loved him! Always wanted to see "ALL" the original LIS cast in a movie!

I agree, I just wish DR Smith was never in the series. I believe the series would have been much more dramatic and far less campy without him.
