  • Remember he put it on the rear wheels. Let off, then the front end came up again so he had to let off again and then was able to set her down and go. He would have run a 9.3 if he got the front end to stay down. Go honda, show the V8 world whats up. I know theres gonna be shit talking on this comment but oh well. this S2000 has got to be running at least 800-900whp to lift the front like that or just amazing rear grip! There are Mid Range 7 second hondas and rotarys and there are 6 second in line 4 cylinders. Basically your saying 4 cylinders wasnt meant to drag, when Brent Rau and John shepard both have 6 and 7 second cars.

  • Either its a F22C or F20C, Probably got at least 900rwhp and around 30-40psi boost. Bullseye S370 or Garret GT42R turbo. Just ignore the domestic people when they start to talk there shit its okay cause everyone that has a mustang or a corvette i give props to because there beautiful cars and they run 600-900whp all motor and they are fast as fuck stock. I am not a shit talker i am just saying that i love both import and domestic.

  • look up the inline pro s2000 fastest pass, its not popping a wheelie...why? because there is weight added to the back to achieve the effect...there is a difference between popping a wheelie from power and wheelstand cars...most import guys are vertically challenged however and so get excited when they see this, in light of how setup it is...

    same concept in the latest fast and furious when the silver chevelle that is nearly bone stock pops an enormous wheelie

  • @mshred ive been running my car for over 2 years now. Not 1 problem. drive it daily and by no means baby it. best time was 11.998 (runs consistent low 12's with just bolt ons and cams). ANd ive spend 10k including car, drivetrain, suspension, and wheels w.slicks. So how are you going to say it takes 7k put into the motor to barely run 12s for imports and they dont last. It also has a full interior so you cant say its b/c its a gutted hatchback

  • @mmdistheway2be well why don't you share what car it is you have then? why do i say what i say you ask?because every single import at my track, whether it runs 9's or 12's breaks ...every time they go to burnout, something fuckin breaks and they gotta get pushed out of the way...consistency is also an issue most imports struggle with.and for your information, my friend runs a 9 sec. civic, so i know what it takes to be fast and consistent in an import. how many passes do u have in ur car?

  • @mshred my car is in my videos, im not saying its fast, b/c its not. its a daily driver... my point is domestic brand cars break just as much as imports do. Its what comes with the sport just like many others. You gotta pay to play. I just cant stand when people are saying import that domestic this. Once you highly modify cars there is going to be breaks but to say what you said is pure ignorance.

So you may not have 7k into speed parts, but you probably have around 5k including the motor swap and speed parts, which still counts for money towards the engine. And like i said, I have a friend with a 9 sec. civic, and the fastest subaru in Canada races at my local track as well. The slower imports actually break more than the fast ones. My comment is not ignorance, its based on what i see. whether you choose to disagree or not IDC

  • Go search for Chris Millers 8.50 pass or any of his 8 sec passes in his street trim civic. I have never seen him break at the track besides an axle once after the traps. I have personally seen him and may other SFWD guys make dozens of passes on 900hp+ without breaking. Both imports and domestics break its the reality of racing sadly many break because they are not done right or no preventative maintenance. The DSM guys break more often they will even admit it

  • There will always be competition between import and domestic each representing two different schools of thought. Its not just about what's better, its about style, to each his own. One is not better then the other simply because you say so, or because one s2000 manages to win a couple races.

  • You have to consider the 5.0L Mustang has a substantial advantage in aftermarket support and has many years of proven parts to make it this fast or faster. The S2000 does not.

    People fail to realize the F20C has little issue producing 450whp+ with boost and a head gasket swap. F20C has forged internals. Have you ever seen the head studs in a 5.0? They are a joke.

  • Just so you know, this car has done 8's before with the current setup. It broke first gear on the last run on saturday. It is amazing, but it is a Honda, and Honda never ceases to amaze me with their cars.

  • not being a ass as iam honda threw and threw , but the S has never seen 8's inlines PB is a 9.30 at the end of 08 at MIR in MD(my local track) and 9.30 is the fastest F20 S2k

He is the one that told me that they broke 1st gear on saturday....i watched it happen. He is the one that said the car has seen high 8's. I am just repeating what they at inline commented on a youtube video of their car.
