G'day Guys! Yeah it's friggin bloody awesome doing my own micro brewing as I'm in the brewers club at the Redcliffe outlet in the nth east in Brissy so drop in & say hi to Nigel & Paula. I have a Beer Keg Fridge which holds 3 kegs (6 slabs) so it's bloody awesome to come home after work & my beer is on tap! Anyway guys cheers & catch ya later from sunny Brisbane, Mark Russell 'Spud'
If extract is so good, then why dont breweries across the world use it instead of all grain? Obviously extract would be quicker as you dont have to do a 90 minute mash which would save the breweries time and money. We all know the reason why they brew all grain & not extract. Its coz no one would drink the stuff.

Martialant, you reallyhave got no idea where do you think malt extract comes from.
Just in case you don't know its from the same grain that full mash comes from.
If you use a good quality malt extract and quality ingredients you do get a excellent result.
I brew at underwood and they have over 3,000 + customers they can't be all wrong.
Again believe what you believe proof is in the taste. GREAT TASTING BEER, CHEERS

But its extract brewing. extract is what gives homebrewing a bad name as it tastes like TCP/pipe cleaner. You should be ashamed.

You must be kidding if you have tasted the product you would know how good it is.
Don't try and push that full mash wheat charf crap to us.
