Let's see... Yes, Bella chose to go to Fork, but doesn't have any REAL reason for doing it. It's not like she was forced to be some little martyr, she did it to herself. She just as easily could have gone back home if it was such a big issue for her. And what about when Edward snuck into her home before they were officially a "couple"? he did this back when they barely knew each other, she didn't chose that.

He forced her to go to a dance when her leg was broken, and when he broke up with her, he STOLE from her. He stole everything he thought would remind her of him. And choosing to become a vampire?
