@Blackinterceptor999 aaahh... don't be depressed :P it's been *slightly modded*... and the hp/torque are MUCH easier to free up on your V8 if you have a go @ it :)
@howling60 Naw my engine is pretty much garbage, in 85 the crown Victoria's didn't get the roller block 302's, I missed that by one year so i can't even use stock mustang engine parts on it...However! My grandmother was being super nice and gave me her old 5.0l and the complete wiring harness and everything to swap in a real Sefi so that would be a better startng point for me, later on i think I'll buy a kit to use the M112
yeah, it's a little large, but more plentiful/easier to find (3.8 tbird supercoupe was mine). also, the 90 can be spun slower than the 62, and achieve the same airflow/boost... theory being, spin it slow, make nice big fat "cold" (relatively speaking anyway) boost... and easier to get belt wrap on the pulley... plus... why not :)
ah, on the 8V (this dyno video) with the stock eaton pulley (8-rib, ford t-bird... 3.0" i think), I was seeing approx 16 psi, bbm 260/268 cam... stock bottom-end. just make sure you intercool that eaton really well, they make LOTS of heat above 10psi.. but are bulletproof.
@cliffgod333 : heh... if the engine it is bolted to lasts that long i'll be surprised... so, i'll maintain it as "bulletproof".. and if/when i blow it up, i'll pick up another for $200 or less :)
@howling60 that's whats up, cheap power adder. but affective to like 12-14 psi.should look into the tvs blower like on the new corvette, they are pretty sweet.
yup. in this video it was a mitsu starion IC with modified end-tanks... it fit almost perfectly between the headlights, right in behind the grill (A/C removed of course). now the car has undergone significant transformation(s) with a larger engine, smaller pulley, and rather large IC
makes exactly the same HP and torque as my 85 two door crown Vic 5.0V8...Ok now i'm depressed...lol

Isn't an M90 a bit big for a 1.8? Wouldn't an M62 be a better fit?

What else have i change for that pressure? I mean do i have to change my cam? Or my program? Or anything else?
dinos86 2 years ago
oh i see. I asked for the psi because i have a g60 8V with eaton M90 and i don't know which pressure is the best.

@howling60 i wouldnt say bulletproof. rotors can warp after a few hundred thousand miles

Nice! And do you know how much psi (bar) is the pressure?
dinos86 2 years ago
the M90 is now pushing 17psi into a 2.0 16V with a p&p head, 9:1CR engine, with shrick 268 cams.

Have you change the intercooler?
