@MrChico929 All that matters with swapping the engine is if the gearbox will adapt to the new engine, if theres a new gearbox then that has to adapt with everything else.

P.S. Since when did the Philippines started getting imports like ae86, rx7, s15, etc. I was born in Chicago but raised in the islands for 13 years and went back here. 1. a lot of the kids putting their comments on here need to learn a lot about engineering. The I6 is NOT a good choice for a performance engine. It is a very peaky engine, that is the only area that they make power. They are highly inefficient because of this. A 1200hp 2JZ gets the same 1620 times as a 600hp aircooled bug engine

2. Drifters need power through out the power band, therefore engines that are NON inline to get that kind of power. Inline engines do not build torque as well

They require a lot more power to produce torque then smaller engines of a different configuration do, they are the most expensive to modify, and are usually the most expensive engines all around. Best engine for a RWD import IMHO is the VQ series.
