  • True, who do we tell now? That which we held sacred has been defiled and the majority suffer the consequences- scanty rains, inability to provide for out children etc. and we know who to blame pre and post independence. The song is valid for either.

Another Mapfumo gem and brings tears to the yes all the time when I reflect on the sacrifices and losses asi chabuda hapana except to those who occupy the top echelons of power then and now.

  • iF NOBODY ELSE CAN GIVE THIS GENIOUS A LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT THEN HE MIGHT AS WELL COME ROUND TO MY PLACE AND I WILL GIVE HIM MORE...... A STAR IN MY WALK OF FAME...ABSOLUTE GENIOUS.... JUST AN AFTER THOUGHT IF NOBODY ELSE WANTS TO LISTEN TO YOU MUKANYA.. BE MY GUEST.. ANYTIME....ANYWHERE

  • EISH...I MISS MY DAD SO MUCH...

  • Lead guitarist here is another of The Blacks Unlimited's greats: Leonard "Picket" Chiyangwa. Great song. Many memories. Am still looking forward to someone posting the original Mugarandega, not the reggae version. Please.

  • This a true master piece in its own league which no other local artist will enter. It reminds me coming from home (kumusha) by bus (Farayi Uzumba) - then all of a sudden coming off a bend - regime soldiers signalling the bus to stop. Passengers stretching their necks inorder to see in front and the conductor shouting - Garai pasi! - hamunzwe makaita seiko - vamwe venyu vachasara pano!

  • @mabharani1 kana isu taienda kumusha na farai uzumba kwa chitimbe

  • @mabharani1 I am just imagining in my head the scene. Those regime soldiers were fearsome, takatambura vanhu vatema and irs something these youngsters these days must never forget

  • Gandanga gandanga!!! Ndapedza hangu.....

  • great tune my dad used to play this one when i was a kid

  • This was the time when friendship and relationships were lost for the sake of freedom. The liberation war divided so many people that brothers rose up against each other due to political differences. It's a shame for those who passed away as a result. For us who survived, what a lesson and life education to remember?

  • It's a song that reminds me of Bomberdia planes and helicopters pounding positions nearby and seeing blood flowing away as life slowly was being lost as friends, comrades died tragically for............?

  • ndafunga kure

  • Oh my God! where on earth did you pull this one from man!A pure classic, timeless,

Thanks a lot for this one man I salute!
