The olympic dam expansion will provide enough Uranium and Copper to offset a 1000 other coal and copper mines. Voting agaist nuclear power is voting for coal.

One thing I like about these guys, is later they will go home and sit two meters away from "high level nuclear waste" and not even know it. I love smoke detectors and how many millions of lives they have saved. But they probably took the batteries out as hitting the bong every night keeps setting it off. Morons.

I bet if I asked any of those protestors the diffrence between UREX+ and PUREX let alone if that was even possible. Or the difference between Gen II and GenIII reactors. They would have no clue. I would be my left testicle that they wouldnt know!
Let me guess their arguments. " nuclear isnt 100% carbon free as you have to mine and construct the reactor blah blah".... Strange how that argument doest exist for Wind or solar. they move the goal posts when it suits them, fucking idiots.

NUclear POwer is NOT the answer, one of the reasons Australia has the supplies from power but not the reactors, is due to this kind of protset and action. Vote for renewable power like wind ands solar. selling uranium to the world goes against the values and guidelines of the NPT, and does not work towards the establishment of a nuclear weapons convention

Australia, a country which never had nuclear power is one of the few places this kind of crap can fly. This crap is fed by ignorance. Plenty of other countries have shown nuclear energy is safe, economical and peaceful.
Australia can continue to choke on the exhaust from coal plants at this rate.

ye it shud sell to india becoz r u saying australia shudnt jus becoz india hasent signed npt? npt isnt even a fair treaty let alone 1 which enforces its own rules when countries who signed npt proliferate.
