    Isaiah 19: 23 - 25

In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. The Lord Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.”

    Isaiah 60:21

"Then all your people will be righteous; They will possess the land forever, The branch of My planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified.

  • Thank you for the video, im an Assyrian and i love to listen to you God less Israel & God bless Assyrians.

  • @AssurEntertainment Thats my pleasure man thanks for watching

  • Sounded like he said "chahpeh mkheeeh" at 4:51. I could be totally wrong on that one though. Chahpeh Mkheeeh meens "clap your hands" in Assyrian. But I don't think he would know that.

  • How great ! I am an Assyrian and I am delighted to hear a hymn like that sung in Israel in my language. I wish to extend my thanks to Israel and and groups like yours for the promotion and survival of our language.

  • samoiel72, i think that you are mistaken, Hebrew is closer to eastern Aramaic NOT western. Western Assyrians have been influenced a little to much by the Greeks in the language department. And that's a fact if you like it of not, i don't think in Hebrew every word ends in a O, it's shlama not shlomo.

  • Indeed my friends, Hebrew influenced from both dialects, and we have songs in eastern dialects and also in western dialects in aramaic. you also need to remember that The Israelite spoke hebrew untill the persian or assyrian occupation of the land Of Israel, but after then the israelites was forbidden to speak hebrew.

  • @Yahoodi1 i like the videos u add to this beautiful website.

  • Thanks bro !

  • shalom-shlomo,ahino-ahono,aba-baby

in westwern aramaic , i think hebrw is evn mor like the western aramic (syrac) dialect.

    fash b shlomo ahoni

  • Thank's Ahron. I don't believe it, it's Dudu Mena'hem. He has the most authentic Jewish music and the way he handles that flute of his... forget it... with his little kit of different flutes for every makam he is simply amazing !

  • Yes man he is great and very modest.

    thanks :}

  • Very, very nice video, God bless all Jews and Assyrians, we are culturally closer then one might think!!

    Marya bareghlokhon kooleh :-)

  • Glad you liked, the ensemble (Shaharit) make a very good Job.

  • Aharon, this is so wonderful!! I continue to educate many assyrians and chaldean as to how we are closely related. Our language and culture is one. GOD BLESS ISRAEL!!!

  • beautiful, i was in choir when we sung this song, i so wanna learn hebrew

  • @sirine1g

This isn't in Hebrew though. It's Syriac Aramaic.

  • @Puniqe

i thought it was in hebrew, doesnt it go ya ribon alam malkah, malek mal5ayaah, well somethin like that, anyways loved singin it, but thx punique

  • Puniqe is right, Aramaic was widely spoken by jews In israel and the rest of babylonian empire, so many Jewish songs and prayers are in the aramaic language. (Hebrew was forbidden by the romans later)

  • נפלא

  • It sounds completely like arabic music

    nice

  • It sound more arabic primarily to those who are are not familar enough with Hebrew language or biblical Hebrew prayers and songs.

  • i mean the music

    not the language ;)

  • @GetoarEjupi

Possibly it is more correct to consider arabic music sounds like this.

  • but u know that it isnt :)

  • @Nyackarch it's Aramaic, not Hebrew

  • Nice Hymn, any translation in English avilable?

  • @Pharaoh714

my english is not that good, but basically the message of the song is:

God is the ruler of the world, our king, we praise you, come back to your people and build our city )Jerusalem) again.

You can find more details uner "more info" tag.

    Regards

    Aharon

  • NICE, THANK YOU

  • My friend, some of the arabs think that before their occupation in the middle-east, there were no life, culture or music.

unfortunately, many languages, traditions and cultures erased because of this, but the music survived.
