What I do not seem to understand is the fact that Vader was fighting unmasked. When it is said by Luke Skywalker in the end of the "Return of the Jedi" that Vader would die instantly when unmasked .Because in "Empire strikes back" he can only be unmasked in his meditation chamber. This is because he suffers severe burns on Mustafar (Revenge of the Sith) .Though I do dought the fact that this “Star killer”could defeat Vader .

@Arekkuzumazukku Actually, so long as the breath controlling device is on, the mask can be removed. It's not the fact of removing the mask that killed Vader in the movie. Sidious killed him with the force lightnings. First of all, his bones got so heated up that you could actually see them glowing through the suit. And second, the lightnings fucked up his breath control device and the cooling devices in the suit. It's a fact, that removing the mask is harmful for him, but not deadly. :)

Black light is not light, it's darkness, right? Anyway, the black saber looked awesome, but it's just out of logic. It's for fanservice only.

i actually never looked at it that way but luke had a different philosophy. since starkiller(Galen Mareck) was trained as a sith he was use to fighting and death. luke on the other had was a pacifist after he became a jedi and only fought when his or other lives depended on it. most of the time strakiller was fighting on his own agenda. if luke had not had his hand cut off in Episode 5 and was as fierce as starkiller Luke could easily have mached starkiller

@8911145533 Look at how well he fought as Anakin.Loss of real limbs disrupt the connection to the Force. Although it can still be channeled, it is not as strong. And because Vader was mostly machine, he couldn't fight as well. Same goes for Luke. He lost a fraction of his power with his hand.

I don't know where I heard it, but yeah you're right about the psychological barrier. ALL the Jedi/Sith have that problem, not just Vader. Only ones who understand it like Yoda, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, Revan, and to a degree Kota can access their full power. You could say that when Starkiller brought down the star destroyer with Kota's guidance, he fully embraced his abilities; when he was betrayed by Vader he came to terms with his destiny and was able to access his full potential.

Yeah, but remember WHO trained him. Vader. They said from the beginning that he'd be one of the most powerful Force users ever and what Luke would be if he had more time to train in the movies. As for Vader, he lost because of the fact that he's more machine than man now, of course leaving him half of what he used to be and could be. He's still incredibly strong though.

I've played the PS2 version, and its not that bad in gameplay. They downgraded the graphics due to the hardware of the PS2, but the gameplay is quite good. Only bad part about this is that he doesn't wield his saber in reverse like the XBOX and PS3 version.

I love fighting Darth Sidious! When hes screaming UNLIMITED POWERR!!, makes the battle feel so epic! He does look pretty crap in this version though compared to the PS3 and 360 versions where he looks like he does in Episode 3 and far more scary. But this version still wins by a mile =P
