I wonder why none of the Ninja Kun games came out in the US? I am sure those games would have been semi-popular if they came out here back in the day.
Most games are leaked in the U.S. in one form or another. Ninja-Kun was given a shot in the U.S. under the name of Ninja Taro for the Game Boy (Sengoku Ninja-Kun: Ashura no Shou). It played less like the others and was more of an Action-RPG, and the characters and plot were altered in the U.S. game such as character names, since they probably figured people in the U.S. wouldn't be able to easily identify the original Japanese characters.
Go to the options menu and choose the top option which will give much better music.
