    Handel would appreciate your criativity.

The way you do, it seems that thie piece was originally made for your instrument.

  • This is a Mandolin, correct?

  • Just fantastic. No more to say!

  • Whoops! Slight error! I posted that this musician is my late father's nephew. I should have said "cousin". I don't suppose it matters much to anyone else but we had better have it right!

  • This wonderful musician is my late father's nephew. I find this truly inspiring music. So lovely to have a modern "take" on established classical pieces. Must try to see one of his concerts. As I live in Sheffield, I hope he comes to the City Hall a.s.a.p. Christine

  • fantastic, simply fantastic...what a great tune to play on mandolin

  • That's My Second Cousin :D

  • Fabulous catching Simon doing this on video. THANKS for posting. Many players over on the west coast of the US haven't seen or heard Simon play. This is a great introduction.

  • Well I love this piece of music and have many favorite musicians, but it isn't often I sit open mouthed :0) this was fantastic what a dicovery as I havn't heard Simon Mayer before or not knowingly at least.Thank You for posting on here.

  • I am a fan of Hillary James and Simon Mayor ever since hearing their free concert in Nuremberg (Germany).

His comment on this piece used to be something like "I had much trouble with it until I decided to just skip most of the tones from the orchestra-score". This is awesome! ;-)

  • very well played!

  • amazing, beautiful, and inspiring. Thanks, Simon
