There was no ban on religion in the Soviet Union under Marxism-Leninism. You don't know what you're talking about. Under Lenin the church was decapitated and deprived of its state sponsored status. Stalin relaxed this somewhat, but kept atheism as the official state doctrine.

That is nice, but I am not sure it is proper to declare the words and life of a moral teacher (who happens to be God) to the policies of the leaders of a massive and poor multi-ethnic federation.
It is clear to me that the Bible is anti-capitalist (on moral grounds), but not clear that it sponsors a particular political system.

As for Christ, I'm not a Christian but I have read the original Christian theology and it thoroughly denounces what we consider capitalism today. My point was, Jesus Christ was much more a communist than Stalin, who was just a petty authoritarian cadre.

However, neither should Nikolai II, who has been canonised :( (he may have been more saintly on a personal level than Stalin but a terrible leader). It is normal for churches to reverence leaders who saved the nation from destruction, and that would be the tradition of canonisation for Stalin.

Stalin promoted the Russian Orthodox Church from about 1940 until his death. He had also studied at seminary in Tbilisi.
Religion is not decadent, as I think Stalin came to understand. It is not Orthodoxy that decayed later Soviet society, but materialist opportunism that Marxism cannot prevent.
Jugoslavija was divded by ethnicity, religion is just another expression of ethnic identity there. But Lenin and Stalin never moved to abolish nations!

86% of the population used to live in the farms and were very poor, and just some years later collectivization and industrialization, etc. together made it a super power.
It disintegrated because of rightist opportunists that infiltrated in government, I can name some: Khruschev, Brejnev, Bukharin, Frunze, Solomon, Bajanov, Zinoviev, Gorbachev, Yeltsin. They ended Stalin's politics, and specially the last ones were responsible for the return to capitalism, but today 61% want the return of USSR.

The Austrian School has faith in real money, not that fiat ruble, following in it's footsteps the fiat dollar.
Commodity backed monetary system is sound. A fiat system always are doomed to FAIL. ALL great countries that go off a gold standard never remain great. All Empires inevitably resort to Fiat money to pay for it's growth. Just as USSR did before the American empire is doomed to fail. And yes, the Soviet did have an empire in it's Satellite States.

The quantity of economic growth started to down during Khruschev government (an anti-Stalinist). Human nature and politics, the desire to create Fiat system is fraud, to pay for big government. It steals the wealth from the poor and middle class and transfers the wealth upward, through counterfeit.

No, capitalism is based on creating goods and services and trading those for other goods which are perceived to be worth less to you.Saving earnings, capital, taking a risk and using capital to grow.
The theft comes when the government distorts the money supply by lowering interest rates through a centralized bank. This steals the wealth from a conservative savor, and the diminishes the purchasing power of the poor and middle class.

In every description you capitalists gave, there's no mention to the workers' condition, no mention of their role in the production in capitalism. They work, they produce goods, services and wealth, that's not something that come only from capitalism. Without the workers, the capitalist guy is nothing.

A worker's property is his labor and not subject to a graduated tax. He enters into contract with a person who will employ him, as long as their is no fraud and the worker can earn and save to better his economic condition if he chose. America does not have that now and again that is the reason it is falling apart.
That exploitation occurs in the 3rd world is a fact. As a matter of fact the banking cartels are the driver to keep these populations from exploiting their resources.
