Thanks dad for serving. Im sure he knows if it was not for his service, we would not have a south korea, im sure that does not mean much to most but its a VERY important location in asia, the sea lane their is one of the most important in asia, The people of south korea are VERY nice i know many in los angeles. They appreciate what we did more then you will ever know. Also imagine a world without hyndais, kia, energizer korea, samsung and many other electronics.
@meronmotors :) you should have him visit south korea, its a beutiful place to live, and very western =] kpop and such keke its pretty cool over there
Videos like these are very educational. Lives lost during these wars must always be remembered and should never be forgotten. There are still other side stories about the war which our future generations must know.
Very good documentary. I could sit around a campfire and listen to your dad till dawn. I lived in China for couple of years and visited the War Museum in Beijing. I think the 2nd or 3rd floor has a huge room dedicated to the Korean War. It was hard to swallow because Chinese version of course is that US attacked first. Anyway, the room was pretty much a propaganda, but at the main floor there are $hit loads of tanks and what have you from WW2 and the Korean War.
I want to commemorate the American soldiers who served in the country that I was born in. Thank you for your sacrifices and many lives. We appreciate it despite what some of you may think.
My great grandfather would have had to go but was a train station conducter and got let off same with his son (my gradndad) in vietnam, he was a copper and didnt have to dogo . And also Lampofilm i notice how you look to Tom hanks as idol, im not sure when but he and spielburg are realising a new ww2 TV series like Band of brothers, its called PACIFIC, i recomend you keep and ear and eye out for it.....it was also made in my home town !!!!!!!!! Melbourne Australia.

My granddad was in the 7th. Inf. Div. in Korea. He was wounded Nov. 17th. 1950. Korean Vets are so unappreciated.
