Thanks for the video, and love to see more of your work.
But my Split A/c manufacutrer does not recommand its coustomers to clean their units in this way.Since wet liquids could at times damage the sensors & Computer chips placed inside the indoor units.
I would do so was not. chemical liquid for cleaning, badly washed. if this liquid is bad to wash the filter, rotor and still no air-conditioning units, you will then breathe dust, the smallest, at best, harmful chemical compounds, but the bad do not want to even think ..
To clean your dusty and dirty part of the air conditioner, it must be dismantled.
The beauty of this chemical is that it will dislodge and lift any mould (also kill) or bioslime that it comes into contact with. The jet spray is strong enough to the chemical all the way thru the coil. We have tested this. As for the condensate tray. Frequent cleaning will keep the tray clean. But if you wish to clean the tray. You may still do so with this system to keep the job simple. If there is enough request, I will do a video on how to clean it without major dismantling as well.
You also forgot to clean the condensate tray(normally the wost part) and to make sure the drain was not clogged with mould and dust as this is normally the main problem when AC split systems start leaking water. There is also the dust and mould build up on the outside casings which u forgot to clean.
Cleaning you air conditioning unit this way will not clean your system properly. First of all, how do you get all the mould that is built up INSIDE the coils? Simply spraying the coils will not dislodge any particles. And what about the behind the fan chamber? Same reason as before. To PROPERLY clean any AC unit, you require all parts to be disassembled prior to cleaning. A wet dry Vacuum must also be used in accordance with the proper cleaning chemicals. The least amount of time is 30-45mins.

Wouldn't flushing the fins with water cause the fins to rust?
netnoob77 10 months ago
@netnoob77 lol you think fins dont get water on them anyway? it evaporates/creating condensation aka water so flushing fins doesnt matter

Probably a good idea to turn off the electricity supply before doing this

you forgot to put on the filter back, when do you need to put back the filter???before you switch it on or after the spray comes out???
entahkaueh 3 years ago
Well the filter of course needs to be placed back into the unit after all the cleaning is done and the aircon is running and the bag is removed.
