@ Dustiloma , in the case of this song, the "blood in the tears" isn't referencing suffering on the part of the enemies. It's not vengeance, it's that his "enemies" (non christians) are suffering, it's a prayer that they'll see the imperfection in the world and be lead to the suffering of Christ, and his blood that was shed on the cross. ("Leaving a trail to where you stood...") "Knowing the pain the way the should refers to the comiseration with Christ's suffering we can all relate to.

@dustiloma Are you sure? You can't in Storm the Gates of Hell, or The World is a Thorn? Maybe it'll help if I understood first what you mean by "religiousness." But going to try and attempt to answer anyway to see if it helps. Christian bands can deal with internal struggles as well as any other band, only with a mindset that is Christian and tends to be more hopeful than a secular band.

@dustiloma well there is a difference between a christian band and christians in a band. no, demon hunter dosen't exactly write sunday morning worship music, but they write songs about deep emotional and spiritual conflicts. christians don't live on cloud 9, they have to express their problems and emotions just like non christians do. also, music that is borderline christian is great for witnessing to nonchristians, because they can get interested, but the message isn't tottally lost to them.

@MonstersNightmare If God is true, then so the devil exists...for those who don't believe I was actually held down by a demon or perhaps satan himself when I was 15 years old. I was completely paralyzed and all I could move we're my eyes. It was really hot and I heard a deep laughing behind me. I could not say a word. My inner self told me to say Jesus and everything went back to normal after that. This is not fiction, nor would I ever lie about this. I knew that God/Christ was real after that.

@PhoenixUSSR I can believe it, there have been times I'd feel a heavy weight pressed down on me all of a sudden, they'd haunt my dreams, things would move, noises would be made around the house. Some images I will never forget seeing, scarred in some ways, and I tell people after you test the reality of demons/"ghosts", even to the point that they won't go away but instead goes up to you angrily, and you realize you can't do anything to them, well, I'm certain God saved my life.

I witnessed things starting to happen around the house, pictures randomly falling of the wall for no reason, odd and unusual tapping noises, sometimes it would sound like someone was whispering, I could see the room grow dark when ever something entered. It's real, God saved me.

I said "how can you believe in God, in angels, and not in demons or satin? doesn't that make it pointless to fallow God if Satin and demons aren't real?" She had no answer because what I said made perfect sense.

If God and Jesus and angels are real, so is Satin, and so are demons.

If people are so Christian then they should accept that not everyone is going to see things the same way as they do. I know there are good Christians, but lately all people see in religion are the haters, the intolerant, and the ignorant.

It's because we love them. Us being Christian doesn't mean we should just deal with the fact that others are going to hell. We want to get people saved. DH have used a synth in all there records. it just seems to stand out a bit more on this record. I love this whole album. I think time wise, this was a very very short album. But the message across the board is just incredible.
