As for advice, my only suggestion would be to ask your teacher to have you start vibrato exercises soon so that you can begin developing a solid vibrato. I had the advantage of starting vibrato exercises very early, so now I'm one of the few kids my age with a relatively mature vibrato. But let me say, If I ever hope to get the articulation in the the third movement as good as yours I'm going to have to REALLY practice the material.
Hey there! I'm an oboist about your age, and i'm playing the same concerto! although it seems you're playing some sort of transcription, as the second is far different for the version i'm playing. I think you did a fantastic job for someone your age, and your interpretation was interesting. Being an oboist as well, I can understand it's unfair for people to compare us to Heinz Holliger.
I'm learning this concerto on oboe at the moment, and you have no idea how hard it is to play that fast! (lol I always forget the forked F when going from D to F which is probably why I have trouble with it) ^_^ you're awesome!!
Arquitecto Joseph M. Marcial, y María Ligia Marcial
Is he perfect? No, he's still a little raw, technically. But you can hear his potential and the talent and feel he has for things. I really look forward to hearing more from Vallejos as he continues his studies.
Hello , I'm the pianist in this video, Thank you for all your commentaries, Camilo is now studing in Francia, The ornamentation in the Adagio is taken of the version for violin. I'm not sure about who did the tancription, I think was kreisler.
I am a classical music critic in the United States. Pay no attention to what some of these people are saying. You have something that can't be taught. You play with great feeling. Keep working on your technique, but don't let anyone tell you anything about your musicianship. You have fine musical instincts. And by the way, the tempo is also just right, despite comments to the contrary. I have heard this played at a slower tempo, and it just drags. Adagio doesn't mean Lento. Thanks.
i think the technic is good.... but the real music is missing , you play the first part very fast , i dont like it so fast , it is andante , not allegro !! you dont think about what you are playing , so move on , but think more about the music you are playing =)
very nice. I've never heard the first movement played that fast...i get the feeling that you can't enjoy the melody. But still, very nicely done. But, you should consider adding in vibrato for the second mvt, it adds warmth and makes it very expressive. Your third mvt is your forte though. Loud and good articulation. :D Awesome performance.
Amazingly full and bold timbre! Nice dynamics and technique also. What make of Oboe is he playing? And where can I hear more of his playing? Excellent Job. I hope he is pursuing a professional career as a soloist.

Again, great job and stick with the oboe!

very good but i think mvmt 1 was too fast and choppy instead of long and smooth
also there was very little vibrato which really was obvios in the 2nd mvmt
3rd mvmt was outstanding
