I was 18 in 2000. Time goes by like you're free falling. I've discovered that the key to happiness isn't to try slowing time down, but to welcome it's passing. I'm losing my hair a bit, and getting crows feet in the corners of my eyes but I just remember to take a breath and enjoy the wisdom that comes with age.
I was 4 years old in 1971! And now I am 43! I don't remember any of Blue Peter in 1971, but I do remember Valerie Singleton as presenter. I don't know why I remember that!
I have to say, BBC kids TV presenters are almost always complete and utter douchebags. Blandly trendy, generic southern accent, almost always gay. I hate them all, except I think for Andy Crane in the 80's who seemed to be a very down to earth, non-pretentious chap.
I'm 42 and I vaguely remember 1971, I wish I could remember it better as i was 3/4 years old at the time. I do remember my mother buying me a pair of hotpants and wearing a flower-power mini skirt, lol.
Oh God, this can't be ten years ago can it? Surely I'm not that old? I was seven when this one was broadcast, and from what I recall was talking about it for weeks
err.. there were no casettes, he says. So how come I had a cassette player in 1968...?
