I was 18 in 2000. Time goes by like you're free falling. I've discovered that the key to happiness isn't to try slowing time down, but to welcome it's passing. I was 4 years old in 1971! And now I am 43! I don't remember any of Blue Peter in 1971, but I do remember Valerie Singleton as presenter. I don't know why I remember that!

I have to say, BBC kids TV presenters are almost always complete and utter douchebags. Blandly trendy, generic southern accent, almost always gay. I hate them all, except I think for Andy Crane in the 80's who seemed to be a very down to earth, non-pretentious chap.
