Kansas was the most underrated band ever.There were certain people with a particular taste in music that adored these guys.Great lyrics,great musical pieces. I only wish Kerry stayed. I wish him all the best to get well and if God gives him the ability to play again,I hope he takes Gods gift and write and play again.He's cool with never being able to play again,but he's a musician,it will always be in his blood.Maybe the children of Kansas can be the next gereration.P/U where they left off ?Hope

Dave and Kerry aren't really a part of the current band anymore. I think they went to CA at a later time to do their hand prints, but I'm not 100% sure...

I am aware that they are not in the band anymore, however robbie stienhardt and greg robert were not in the band either at that time. but they were there to put down their hands. did you also know that kerry was the only member of the original 6 that did not get a small tattoo of a bird on his forearm? it was to show solidarity of which he never felt.

Who is Elefante? is an unimportant and accidental member of the gratest progressive rock band. Steve is one of the most greatest singers and keyboardist ever.

Dave Hope is an Anglican priest on staff at Immanuel Anglican Church, a member congregation of the Anglican Mission in America, in Destin, Florida. He is currently the head of Worship, Evangelism and Outreach. He is also bassist for the Christian rock band "The IRS".

Kerry moved from Atlanta back to Kansas years ago.

Hey griff, google kerry livgren and go to his official website...i just received his "the wait of glory" CD......excellent!! He put together the old "pre kansas" band to form his new band: PROTO-KAW...truly great music...I don't know what Dave Hope is doing now.

I don't know where they were. I believe both Livgren and Hope were on good terms with the band by 1995. Too busy with their own projects I guess?
