  • This is best and should be shared with families touched by Frontotemporal Dementia.

  • My Dad has ftd. I am afraid I am headed down this path for myself.......I just don't think Moma can handel any more.

  • Hello atayraco,

I'm so sorry to hear about your father and am glad that you find these videos helpful. We have a playlist of FTD-related videos on our channel, but no these are not part of a larger documentary. I hope this helps.

  • is this video part of a larger documentary? If so I would love to get my hands on it. My dad suffers from FTD and im trying to research as much as we can to understand where he's coming from. Dad's 58 and has had it for at least 5 years (that we know of) and like the lady in the video said, it's extremely hard to get the help he needs.

  • God bless every family caring for those with FTD. So hard to get a diagnosis and the care is 10 times harder.

  • It looks almost like the disease induces an almost sociopathic state...

  • My heart goes out to these families.

  • My father has this disease, and it has to be the worst mental disease out there. They're right. FTD seriously ROBS these people of their emotions. Its extremely difficult to deal with day to day.

  • My heart out to those affected by and suffering from this disease.

However, I like to say that this video makes it seem like men would predominantly get this disease over women, when there hasn't been any real evidence of this.

  • @writofmandamus

Is common in both men and women.

  • @writofmandamus my wife has this disease with ALS and she is only 29
