The coalition needs to exist, just look at the facts. Harpers budget would've eroded womans rights, civil workers ability to strike until 2011 and the funding of 1.95$ per vote to the political parties (which the conservatives dont need being the wealthiest party) The coalition was and is a tool to fight Adolf Harpers tyranny.
We voted and 62% of us dont want harper. Support the Coalition @:
62percentmajority,ca
Good video of Adolf Harper @: harperdictatorship,ca
Right and 75% didn't want Dion, 80% didn't want Layton. See how stupid that number is? Now my numbers may be a little off but they are close. Eroding woman's rights? Why? Because he was reducing how man times one person can take their case to a Human Rights Committee? And Civil workers would be unable to strike for 2 years? Come on, this is why we need a coalition?
I know it must cost millions of union dollars... sure cuz unions are now fantastically rich and are not the assistance to workers they have always been.
Your attack on unions shows what you really are, a heartless and grotesque medieval conservative.
Let's compare shall we? Pro coalition rally. A couple thousand people, lots of union flags being waved, nicely printed bilingual signs handed out to anyone that showed up, every single leftist cause with an axe to grind showed up. Anti coalition rally, about a thousand people show up. Lot's of hand made signs, lot's of Canada flags being waved, started and ended with the singing of the National anthem. See a difference?
Webstermr do you know how wealthy the Conservative Party is compared to the other Parties? Well i'll have you know the Conservative Party has more money than all the parties combined. Where does alot to most of othis money come from? The UBER-Rich. Exxon Mobil, Oil Sands Companies whatever multinational wants to give him a contribution.
The only thing I can say to you webstermr is that I am part of the 62percentmajority and you should really look up how a parliamtary democracy works, jackass.
Exactly. Unlike the anti-coalition rally, there was nothing grass-roots about this. This was organized, funded and attended by union members more concerned with padding their own pockets that supporting Canada. The anti-ccoalition rally, on the other hand, was purely the work of ordinary Canadians with no funding from unions or anyone else - and we had more people out too. Our facebook ground is about 5 or 6 times the size of the pro-coalition group too.
The people at this rally are stupid.

Dion said no chance of a coalition govt. during the election.
Layton (of the hidden agenda) is the slimiest of all.
When will egos be put aside so that these parties can unite the left and WIN an election on the same platform ?
(an important step in forming govt.)
This is what the right did. Let's fight over the center again. (where good policy is made)

BTW Parliamentary rules are no substitute for the will of the people.

Oh and how hard is it to fund a website saying
"show up here at 12:00"
