12 bar blues was so new in the 60's to us Brits.Slide guitar too and watching Peter Green was electric.I have passed on my enthusiasm for this type of music to my son who now is a music producer in London and loves it all.
I was listening to Steppenwolf II and this song was one of the tracks, I thought they wrote it and thought to myself wow this is a terrible song and really brings this album down a bit, but hearing it from Fleatwood Mac gives me a different perspective.
shoot I would've gone overboard if I had this much talent and had to wait in line for acceptance and yet give it more... shoot it isn't worth a life ... ask Jimi
Always one of my favourite Fleetwood Mac tracks, but not seen this footage before. Isn't Jeremy Spencer miming (very badly) to Peter Green's vocal track? This stuff brings back oh so happy memories of seeing them at the Bath Blues Festival and the Free Trade Hall, Manchester, with B.B.King, Duster Bennett, and a whole bunch of great guys.
Anyone else think there's a Fleetwood Mac lead guitarist curse? Danny, Peter & Spencer all ended up in a mental state, Danny & Peter with LSD & Spencer with "the children of God."
My dad raised me with this music. I'm 16 years old now, and he still comes to myt room with records I should listen like every day xD. I absolutely love Fleetwood Mac. They have a very special ''magic''!!
Respect to ya dude,my father was the same and i thank him for doing so because i just can't tolerate this bullshit they call music in the 21st century.
@yoursatan Terrific. My father raised me to ABBA (and I'm a dude!). After I broke free of the fetters of disco at age 17 and found my own way to blues and classic rock, he had the nerve to tell me that I wasn't keeping up with the times. But I ain't listening to disco and I sure as hell won't suffer today's bullshit music, whether or not he thinks it odd for a teenager. *leaps up in triumph and shakes his moneymaker*
@yoursatan Record his records, then sell them on Ebay, great music,in great condition makes loads, money men invest in it now,as the value goes up,not down.Above all, ignore my last sentence, listen to music woth talent,Guitars,Drums, words and singing,Stuff with meaning. To cut a long story short,1960's,and some 70's.
@yoursatan My parents are the same way and I'm younger than you! I grew up with Fleetwood Mac, CCR, and Pink Floyd so this is a typical song I listen to on a daily basis. Peace, love, & Rock N Roll.
Whenever I explain to people that I am a Fleetwood Mac fan, I make sure to have a copy of this handy.

The vast majority of white bands fuck up the blues miserably. But Elmore would be pleased with this rare exception.

@5705Seahorse Jeremy Spencer is miming (very badly) to his own vocals :-) He generally sang the Elmore James stuff.
