Just realized that all of these drawings are backwards... he has the paper (And thsi is a theory/hunch/guess) He has the paper taped to the camera lens, its translucent tracing paper so al he has to do is hit record and start ah drawing away... Brilliant really, there are times however where i can see your hands behind the paper moving Lev.

Yes, he uses sketch or wax paper, probably on a glass though, as there is no way he can draw everything over a small lens the way you described. I think the fact that you can see him moving behind it is just a nice feature of the video.
