Hill is a good driver, but he always seemed too cautious on track. I am pretty sure most top drivers like Alonso, Kimi, JPM or Hamilton would have eaten up schumi on slick tires easily unlike Hill who took more than a lap to do that.

are you kidding.....this is great racing by both of them hill and schumacher where great sportsman and a very good driver maybe one of the best at this time yes hill had wet weather tyres and schumacher slicks but these cars had so much power that when you step to hard on the pedal the car would spin schumacher drives a very aggressiv defense line and hill had no chance....they don`t act like chicken i bet you will piss your pant if you ever sit in one of these cars at this conditions

Well, first half ot the track were wet - the other more or less dry (like the commentary says at the start).

Then Hill tooks lead, an there's a split.

The track trys more so Michaels slicks were better, than the wet-tiers by Hill, which were down in the try conditions.

So Schumacher did the right decision to stay on slicks, while Hill couldn't use his adventage while the track was wet.

In this season we can see how much stupid Damon was, and how superior Schumacher was against the 90´s drivers generation.

Looking at some points of this video we can see how desperate Damon was, not expecting for the right moment, we can see in some points of the track that he took advantage with wet tires.

So with this point of view i can imagine what Senna gonna do with MS in an equivalent car like the FW17/17B and the B195...i can imagine.....

Senna driving that 1995 Williams might have been the only way to beat Schumi in those conditions (and probably in any condition) but in a close way.

Hill was always a nice character, but I never found him to be a great racing driver, while Schumi wasn't quite the nicest bloke on the track but was the best of the late 90s.

Can't believe Hill couldn't get it done on intermediates (or wets, whatever he had). You gotta figure Schumi will break your momentum in turns, so try to get a run for the straight or something. Mix it up.

Schumi is trying to hold Hill off so that his intermediates degrade in the dry and aren't as effective on the wet half of the track.
