That's kinda funny because without Primal Scream, there probably would have never been Slowdive. ;) But hey, it is what it is and not everybody likes everything, right? I like the Slowdive version as well. This is definitely not as faithful, but I do think it's a pretty cool song on its own merit.

I mainly listen to extreme metal (Emperor, Evoken, Gorgoroth, Anorexia Nervosa, Nile, etc), doom metal (Solitude Aeturnus, Candlemass, Saint Vitus) and gothic metal (Tristania, Trail Of Tears, TSOTB), but I find this version pretty enjoyable!
