@kiwitedferny Yeah, that's one thing you almost always have to deal with up here in the mountains. The Kestrel was reading an average of 10 mph but I was holding for 15 mph. It only got worse later.....

Have you checked out the new tool from Pacific for people that hand ream chambers? looks like I might get in on some of that, wait a minute,,, I haven't even finished my 300mag Savage LA project yet! ( I was able to upgrade to DBM right away though.) Sans optic (and the assembly work) I am DONE!!! I'll be sure to post a vad when I get 'er throwin lead! I wish I had some real range though 570 is it for me.

By the way,how are you liking the us optics scope? Nice to see someone without a nightforce for once

@freestylmx311 I like it a lot. The only thing that really sets it apart from Nightforce is the 35 mm tube and the EREK elevation knob which basically allows you to get a lot more range out of your scope. I've handled several NF and they're quality is just as good but the USO has all the bells and whistles that I like. I'm planning to buy at least 2 more soon.
