Bodine and Earhardt went too far and the penalty was justified. On the other hand, Bodine was probably screaming, "YOU'RE FINISHED, EARNHARDT, YOU'RE ASS IS MINE!!!" No wonder Bill France made those two sit down at dinner together, those two were at each other's throats, especially since '86!!!

Kyle Busch would say that's just a product of good hard racing. That 5 lap penalty was weak! They shouldn't have penalized him for that.
