I thought I heard the vet say in the video that the " Growth " was the cats uterus . I thought that when a cat was spayed , the uterus and ovaries were removed . So I am confused . I also read that spaying a cat was actually bennificial to the cat . It reduces the risk of certain health issues ( like cancer ) , and that the cats lifespan can nearly double after spaying . So , how do we know what to do ? It would be horrible to have this situation ( in the video ) happen to your cat. Confused .

All that I was ever taught was to help control the pet population , have your pets spayed or neutered , ( sounds like Bob Barker ) . So I am grateful for this information being circulated . Our family has a male and a female cat , but we dont want any kittens . I guess , after seeing this , the safer way for future situations , would be to have the male cat neutered . Thanks
