It's funny.

You could tell that you weren't really that stoked at the idea of being in a boat, as you sounded bored and had a go at your oarsman, who really wasn't doing a bad job of turning the boat around (row boats don't turn that quick - that's just how it is).

But once you got going, you could tell that you actually were quite enjoying it (you were trying to pretend otherwise, but the pitch of your voice was rising slightly).

Admit it, you thought it was going to suck but it didn't. ;D

looked fun,...but if you wanted to go faster,..you would have been much better off taking that aluminum canoe, the lil boat you were in is what is known as an aluminum V-hull used mostly for fishing, a similar version is a jon-boat which is square on both ends and has a flat bottom used more for (duck) hunting. :)

I've actually seen bags of milk and the same pink soda while I was in Missouri and when in Tennesse the last time I was in those places. It isn't obvious when you go there you do have to look for it a bit, but milk bags are common pretty much everywhere in the states.
