What I like about this is that it is "technical" in a more organic way than a lot of tech death. Too many of those bands rely on scale runs and classical techniques. It's goups like Ulcerate, Portal and the new Gorguts (heard a preview on blabblermouth) that wonderfully blend sophisiticated song structures and riff ideas with brutality and aggression.
